Love this place! The owner is the chef and everyone here is friendly and welcoming. The pancakes are amazing, just so good. The omelettes are great too. It’s a great informal local spot for breakfast or lunch.

Here for a birthday. I ordered. 2 eggs over easy with extra crispy bacon. The bacon really impressed me it came out perfect. Also I stole some pancakes that where really good All in all a solid breakfast recommendation

First time today. Asked for my bacon burned and they brought a huge plate, crisp like I like it. Got the french toast; she double-checked that I wanted the cinnamon sugar(I did) and it was tasty. Soft and rich, with a chunk of fried egg that didn’t get whipped into the mix.(I’m fine with that. Barbed-wire rips in the leather furniture, if you know what I mean.) My companion went for the Italian breakfast. The waitress warned her it came with marinara, which was a great save.(She did NOT want marinara.) Instead she had a different plate, which was fine. The home fries were redskin potatoes, probably boiled ahead then crisped on the side, which you might like but isn’t my style. Service was friendly, attentive, and thoughtful, and I brought home corn muffins. Definitely try it. No wait this day, a Sunday, at 10:00 a.m.

Nice place that needs a chef. My Sunday morning breakfast — eggs, hash, home fries — was a disgusting pile of slop. The home fries were burnt and black. Can’t believe anyone would send that plate out. My kids pancakes were enough to feed an army. However, we weren’t an army, just 3 people. I’ll take quality over quantity any day. Don’t bother.

nice environment but service was terrible. it’s suppose to be a pleasant Sunday morning but nothing pleasant about the service. And they’re ranked #1?

Pulled up on Sunday at 1:20 pm to have lunch. Didn’t even make it to the front door, and a man poked his head out the door and gave us the hand across the throat, don’t come in gesture. I can’t vouch for the food because we didn’t get a chance to try it. According to the website, they were supposed to be open until 2. There were about 10 cars in the parking lot and people inside eating. It’s not like we pulled up 5 minutes before they were about to close. Very disappointing. We will just take our business to Shakers in Worcester from now on.

First time going to Brody’s diner. The buffalo chicken omelet was delicious cheesy goodness. I split an awesome pancake with my wife and took half the omelet home with me. The food all around was great. The coffee was quality too. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well, the three stooge’s pictures are a nice touch. The friendly wait staff rounded out an enjoyable dining experience.(The omelet was good the next day).

Your usual diner nothing spectacular. Home fries are good they are made with skin on red bliss potatoes. I ordered a hash and cheese omelet, it’s a shame that they serve alpo instead of making a nice homemade corned beef hash. The prices are responsible and the service was fairly quick and friendly

Nice place to stop for a lunch. The wait staff was friendly. The food was very good. They don’t know what an «itemized» receipt is though… therefore, I won’t be stopping back during business hours. Sorry.

Will have to go back here, the Giffords ice cream signs caught my eye, that is wonderful stuff, get it wherever you can. That being said, it was lunchtime so I got the fish and chips. Very fresh, large portion, tasty fries. coleslaw was okay. Very friendly service, quick, comfortable restaurant. Definitely want to come back and have ice cream, breakfast, and try out their burgers.

Stopped for a bite to eat on our road trip. Typical standard diner food. Large portions and everything on the menu was under $ 10. Good service.

Really it’s 2.5 stars. To keep it in perspective, a) we went on Mother’s day when it was incredibly busy and b) this is a fairly typical truck stop predominantly breakfast joint. The portion was large but there is such a thing as quality over quantity. The portion was so large that the three eggs were stacked on top of each other like a heap of pancakes. The bacon was about 10 strips(i think) but it was a jumbled mass where they were all stuck together like in a giant buffet thats been sitting for a day. The egg whites on the eggs over easy where sort of a grayish brown color stained by the grill grease. All the food was cooked kind of uneven with one egg yolk runny but the others mostly solidified. Same was true for the home fries and toast… A mix of crispy and yet of raw at the same time. To top it all off, by the time you eat your way to the bottom of the plate, there was a nice puddle of grease. Upon finishing, you suffer from diner’s remorse realizing that this is why you(and most of the others in the place) are 40 lbs over weight. Making comparisons is a little easier, and if you are local and have a choice, the Edgemere Diner just down the same road is a world apart in all respects in terms of what a Breakfast should be.

Great for breakfast, the pancakes are enormous. But Friday night’s they are open for diner and they make the best fish and chips. Nothing fancy here, but the food is tasty. The grill is open to the restaurant, and you can see the owner cooking away. Nice homey feel and good comfort food. The regulars all know the waitresses by name.

Second time my wife and I have been here and again did not disappoint. I had Greek omelet with homefries and rye toast. Colleen had English with bacon and a buttermilk pancake. Portions were large and delish. My wife loved the cocoa with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Will be back again.

Limited menu, even for a diner. However, the coffee is pretty strong and the service is fast. The food is pretty standard for a diner. Greasy, large portions, lots of toast. The menu includes an «Italian Breakfast» which is just eggs, homefries, white toast, and Italian sausage in marinara. It sounds weird, but I thought the combo worked.

Great little place with super tasty food and good prices. We tried a little bit of everything: –Italian breakfast(3 italian sausages with the some of the best marinara sauce I’ve had) and 3 eggs –Short stack of french toast(looked like Texas toast, very tasty) –Coffee –Steak & eggs(big piece of steak for $ 9) The toast & french toast both came with margarine on it so I’ll be sure to ask for butter instead next time, that’s my only(and minor) drawback. Great homefries and quick service. We’ll definitely be back.

Got stopped at Flynn’s Truck stop for the weekend and found this place sitting across the street. The wait wad a little long as the diner is quite small. We waited for about 10 – 15 minutes for a table. The atmosphere seemed friendly and you could clearly see the cook behind the counter. It’s always nice to see how the food is being cooked. Mr. Brody did a fine job of it. We finally got sat in a corner booth. The big windows open the whole place up so it’s not at all cramped. I ordered the Irish Eggs Benedict and boss ordered an omelette and some crab cakes. The coffee is excellent and very strong! The eggs were cooked perfectly and there was plenty of corned beef hash! I started getting full before my plate was even half empty. The potatoes are cooked with plenty of butter so they are nice and soft as the should be. Crab cakes were clearly frozen, but also very high quality and filing. Our waitress was super busy but she still made time to tell us a few things about the area. She was also very friendly! All in all it was definitely worth the price we paid for all the food. $ 9.99 breakfast special is awesome! If we get stuck in Boston again we know where to get a good meal.

Was in the area for a sales call and stopped in for breakfast last week. Despite the lot being fairly full at 8am, I was lucky to find some real estate right at the counter. Menu is fairly limited: sandwiches, burgers, omelets, and pancakes. Settled with their country omelet(three egg omelet with tomatoes, onions, peppers, and mushrooms) that came with home fries, and rye toast. Was gonna opt for their corned-beef hash, but for $ 5 I thought otherwise. For $ 2, you get a huge cup of coffee. Although they pitch that the 2nd refill is free, you’ll be hard-pressed to drink more than that first mug. Service was short and quick, but for a quick bite Brody’s is the perfect pit-stop

Very nice little diner with great atmosphere, just what the Dr ordered everything on the menu looked great. The restrooms were clean and so was the language from the cooks. Order the Italian breakfast.
