I’ve brewed beer at other places but after my experience here I’m hooked. The crew at Deja Brew is so low key, and what more do you need when brewing beer. :-) We even had a weird problem with part of one of our batches that nobody could explain and true to their word Ray and Keith had us brew again. The topper to this whole place is that their prices are lower than many of there competitors and you get more beer per kettle. Also always remeber to leave a sample of your beer behind for others to try and when you’re here you can sample their’s for free. I’d call Deja Brew, Ray and Keith a keeper. A personal shout to Ray, he needs a Saison recipe, because«yeti’s» drink farm ales.

I received a gift for my birthday to brew my own beer here, something I’ve been wanting to do at home, but never bought the materials myself. The location isn’t close to home, but I plan to be back again! For a first time brewer, I was able to follow the instructions and with the help of the staff create a nice stout that I am looking forward to going back to bottle in a week. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and while the staff is very laid back, they clearly know what they are doing and are more than willing to discuss the process, pros and cons, and help you decide what type of beer you want to brew. It is definitely a do-it-yourself place, but I enjoyed it. The price is on target with other places, but you brew a lot of beer(much more than I would ever be able to do at home) and I know that it won’t go to waste. This is a great idea! Such a great gift!

As someone who has attempted home brewing and tired quickly of the tediousness of trying to make beer with limited tools and space, Deja Brew was a fun experience. It takes the stress away and leaves in the fun and excitement of brewing your own beer. Your first step is to pick out which beer you’d like to brew from several binders of recipes. You could, I imagine, brew your own recipe should you choose to do so, but for first timers like myself, the binders are useful in finding something that you know you’ll enjoy drinking. From there, you’re directed to all the ingredients and tools you need and with the guidance of the staff, you do just what you’d expect… brew your beer. If I had a criticism, it would be that the environment isn’t all that welcoming. Yes, it’s a do-it-yourself establishment, but it’s also a unique experience for many people and the staff doesn’t necessarily present it with much excitement. Appointments aren’t cheap, but they are also no more expensive that six cases of beer, which is what you ultimately end up. Go with a friend and split the cost.

This place used to be good but has gone down hill recently. The staff(and owners!) seem to be annoyed with your presence. Customer service is practically non existent unless you are a friend of the owner. The beers are horribly overpriced for the amount of raw materials you’re actually using. I can brew the same beer at home for $ 50 in materials while the Deja brew batch will cost $ 150 — $ 200. I’m okay if you mark up if your going to provide me a great experience; however, this establishment is very much lacking in that department. Additionally, the last 2 beers I’ve brewed tasted okay initially, but deteriorated rapidly(less than 1 month) as result of some low level infection in their equipment. Drink your 6 cases quickly or they will eventually become undrinkable in a short time. High prices, lousy experience and crappy beer has led me to abandon my semi regular visits. So sorry to see this once fun experience deteriorate.

Drive slow when you are looking for this place or you might just pass right by this gem. I went there for a company outing. I was a little skeptic about how much fun it could be to half brew beer at an outing but I was wrong. For 150 $-250 $ you can have a brew while making a batch of brew. There is also a pizza shop located next door in case you get hungry mid brew. You are given easy instructions and all the ingredients and equipment. All you need to do is minimal work like measuring and mixing. If you have never brewed beer before and have questions, ask away. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. In the end you will have ~72 large bottles of beer. Labels are also included in the price. Pick your label design and beer name. The only downside is that you will have to wait a few weeks for the beer to finish fermenting, however its just an excuse to come back.

It’s a good place to relax with live music. It is crazy small and one of the few places in the area so if you are passing through, then make sure you get there early. Lady with long red hair is a nice lady. She is super excited to work there and will answer your questions. She’s the reason for four stars.

What a great experience. I was looking for a new/fun activity to do with my partner for his birthday. And we’ve never brewed beer before. We had such a great time brewing with some friends. It’s actually very labor intensive! But I would highly recommend this to anyone. The staff is so friendly and helpful. You can test out some of the beers that people who bottle leave for sampling. I’m glad I decided on a local place. We had planned go to a place in Natick but there service was so awful upon making reservation that I didn’t book it. But I’m happy I didn’t. You need to come back 2 weeks later to bottle. We’re going back to bottle soon, so I can’t rate for the taste but I give 5 stars for the experience.
