I’ll give Platypus a couple of stars for the uniqeness of their items. I purchased a tv stand which was supposedly custom, even though they had one right in the store. It took at least 3 months to arrive and then there was a hugh crack in the wood, which my husband spackled instead of trying to get them to get us another one! That would be like pulling teeth! Overall a terrible buying experience, would not recommend anyone purchase any major furniture from them, which is a shame because they do have some beautiful pieces.

Platypus is a small, local chain of stores that specializes in rustic home décor, as well as fantastic coffee and confections. Whenever I am near one, I poke my head in and buy a few pounds. Some of the best coffee you can buy, in my opinion. A bit pricey, but definitely worth the expense.
