Shrewsbury branch SYTT is a children’s toy store that happens to sell outdoor power equipment, too. Seriously, 50% of their floor space is taken up by John Deere model tractor toys and other kitsch. I went in the other day to buy a new set of blades for a JD lawn tractor. No place on the shelves for blades… had to go to the parts counter. 10 minutes of waiting and then I find out that they are not in stock and will have to be ordered. Are you kidding me? Lawn mower blades not in stock at a lawn mower store?
I actually lucked out though. I went to Lowes, found the blades on the shelf, saved ten bucks. So much for the local dealer giving better service than the big box store.
