Waited 20 minutes to get our drink order. An hour later still no food. Complained to the manager and he brought us out the wrong food. Just up and left!!! Thanks for the free drinks I guess. This is the first time I have ever walked out of a restaurant. Will not be back.

Good was very salty regardless how you ordered. Always the same never change. If complained, reason was they like salty. Don’t go if the place is packed, service for drinks and food will be very slow. If you order anything, just ask for zero salt, since there’s already salt on the table.

Tonight was unforgettable at the Sidney Applebees. Arrived and hostess had the demeanor of the walking dead… seriously. When seated we asked hostess for a booster seat to accommodate our three year old little girl. Waitress arrives, takes drink order and once again we ask for a booster seat. Drinks are brought and at that moment our daughter falls from a tall seat to the floor. Told waitress we’d still like a booster. Asked for blue cheese dressing, got ranch. Asked two more times for blue cheese. Entrees brought to table and I got up and requested blue cheese from bartender. Got dressing from bartender, walked back to table and ate salad. Entrée cold. Steak ordered medium and was well done. Mac and cheese ordered for daughter from kids menu… Mac and chicken costing more was brought to table. Waitress promised to take extra cost off and never did. Still no booster seat. Waitress disappears, not to be seen anywhere again until ready for bill and to exit asap. Kid played with the Applebees provided table tablet and somehow added two dollars to the bill. Smallest, worst steak I’ve had in a long while. Substandard and mediocre are two very kind words describing our experience tonight.

Had dinner at Applebee’s last night and found the food salty and the service was slow. The steak was undercooked and over cooked on the same piece of meat. I’m not sure I would recommend eating here.

Just went in this evening for dinner. Food was great, drinks were great, and our server, Cole, was great! My only complaint is the people manning the host stand. Didn’t catch any of their names. Two girls and a boy. The brunette girl hostess was walking backwards in through the door and stumbled into my boyfriend as we were trying to exit, stepped on his foot and everything. She was very apologetic, not a big deal. BUT the blonde girl hostess thought that this was the funniest sight in the world and guffawed for what seemed like an eternity. Hilarious when you walk into patrons and cause them pain, right? Try hiring some more pleasant, polite host/hostesses, Applebee’s! These immature high schoolers just aren’t cutting it.

Typical chain style food new appetizers makes the menu more appealing… but for the area its a change of pace… food s ok nothing great but what do u expect from a chain… updated restaurant… appears pretty clean… all in all decent place to eat or take a date… just keep expectations not too high.

Went on a Monday evening with a group of 4, waited at least 5 minutes to be sat even though the manager was standing right there, then took about 10 minutes to get drinks. Waitress was not friendly whatsoever, just slammed the drinks down and walked away, didn’t smile once the whole night. Took forever for our food and even longer for the bill, then as we were leaving a waitress was screaming at the hostess right by the door in front of everyone. Crappy experience every time, don’t know why I go back

The day after Christmas my family group of 13 had a reservation at a downtown Sydney restaurant. The restaurant canceled our reservation without telling us, and it was closed. We found Applebee’s, and we salute the staff there for accommodating us with friendly service!

This place is so consistently disappointing. Must. Make. Note. To. Self. So much time passes between visits that memories from previous experience(perhaps combined with early onset dementia ?) work together inevitably leading us back through those«friendly neighborhood bar and grill» doors. And BAM its Groundhog Day all over again! WHY is it so difficult to keep someone at the hostess stand to greet and seat guests? Why is it so difficult to teach hostesses how to take names and give accurate wait times? Oh, last night probably due to that poor young lady* busting her hump to bus tables while simultaneously trying to seat the creeping number of parties gathering in the lobby. And probably doing that for coworkers not showing for their shift and kitchen crew walking out mid-shift. Yeah, probably that. Probably also why we waited so long upon being seated to be acknowledged by anyone serving. And to get drinks. And to be told to ensure the soda tasted okay since they had run out of fountain and were serving from bottles. And to overhear apologies, excuses, and offerings of compensation to nearby tables. And to have to change stalls for no toilet paper. And to watch the«manager»(loosely defined) make several passes by tables piled with dirty dishes(5 at one count, in our small section alone) and not so much as pick up a glass to return to the bar. Um, is it any WONDER why you can’t get them to clear their tables; look at what you’re modeling. Rocket science. Would seem the monkeys are running the zoo. When is this place ever going to get a zoo keeper that knows what the *%#?;@ they’re doing… OR when the *%#?;@ am I going to REMEMBER all that is the frustration and disappointment and stop suggesting it?! *Go Brandi, someone needs to acknowledge your above n beyond.

Yeah for Applebee’s on Veterans Day! Lots of places say how much they honor veterans and then they offer you a free pop or a really small scoop of ice cream. What does Applebee’s do? They give all veterans a full meal and everyone doesn’t have to get the same meal. Applebee’s offers us a variety of seven meals to choose from. Now that’s the way to really say how thankful you are for the service of veterans! Thank you Applebee’s for putting your meals where your mouth is!

Join our party & patiently waited the 10 minutes for the waitress to stop back by the table. She asked if we needed anything else. We said we would like to put in an order. She told us we had to wait for the waitress that was taking over for her. We waited another 5 minutes and then excused ourselves from our party and left. Who tells customers(with children) that they can’t take your order right now?

Wonderful wait staff, apologized several times for kitchen staff being slammed. With new crosscut Ribs and a Friday night maybe kitchen should be better staffed.

Food is ok. Tables a little sticky. Starting to smell«restauranty». Getting pricey for the food amount you get. But for Sidney, it’s still a staple place to go. Do the half price appetizer after hours for your best value.
