This is a great old tree from when the village was first founded. It has since been referred to by many locals as The Green-​man Tree.. for obvious reasons.
It is a local and iconic symbol for love, romance, and fertility. Touch it for luck. Or stick a note on it for love.
Do not deface the tree or carve anything on it. The Green-​man Tree has been known to work wonders.
