Gwynn Patterson MD FACOG

I had a wonderful experience at this office. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was calming, clean, feminine and very pretty. The nurses were extremely friendly and helpful. Right away Dr Gwen introduced herself and gave me a complete full exam since I was experiencing a number of issues. After the exam, she made sure to have a conversation discreetly in her office to discuss everything and answer all my questions and concerns to ensure I understood everything and understood everything that needs to be done following the next steps in my recovery/​and diagnosis. Shes extreamly nice, informative and puts you at ease. I recommend her completely! :)

I had been seeing Dr. Patterson for some time. After one exam, she explained to me that I needed to see an oncologist and referred me to one. When I called to get the appointment with the gynecologic oncologist, the doctor’s office staff stated that he had no openings for a month. I was devastated. I explained this to Dr. Patterson. She called their office herself. I don’t know what she said but I was seen the next week. I will always be grateful to her and her staff. They are great! The good news is that the problem was caught in time thanks to both doctors. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Dr. Patterson has been a joy to my husband and I. She is such a genuine, caring person and I’m so thankful we selected her as our OB. She shared in our excitement as we welcomed our first pregnancy and comforted us during one of our more difficult moments.
I was pleasantly surprised and put at peace when I was connected directly to Dr. Patterson during an after-​hours, urgent call. She saw me early the next morning, squeezing me in between other appointments. But, not once did we feel rushed. Instead, I felt like I was the only patient Dr. Patterson had planned to see that day. She took her time and stood by my husband and I as we learned we had miscarried. She comforted us during our loss, answered our questions and was so unbelievably sympathetic.
With support from my husband and Dr. Patterson, I was scheduled for a D&C the following morning. Dr. Patterson visited me before surgery and was there when I awoke. She explained everything very clearly to my husband and I and took the time to answer our questions.
I’d also like to thank the team at Sierra Vista Regional Health Center, who supported Dr. Patterson in this procedure. My husband and I were impressed by the care I received — the nurses, anesthesiologist and recovery team really made me feel comfortable.
You don’t need to travel to Tucson for the best OB care. You can find it at Dr. Patterson’s office — right here, in Sierra Vista. I trust Dr. Patterson wholeheartedly and am thankful to have her as my OB.

Dr. Patterson’s office staff are RUDE. A routine appointment took 3 hours, she didn’t introduce herself to me or my husband, she told me I am fat, she refused to refill a Rx for nausea (I am 17 weeks pregnant), and she sent me a test result with WRONG information. Unless you want to be humiliated, waste your time, and get incorrect test results, find another OB in town!
