When I first saw the sign on this place, I busted up laughing! Living in SV, you’ve gotta know that if you’re under 60, you feel like a minority. So, here we are, in «Heaven’s Waiting Room», so to speak, and you just gotta roll with it to be able to live among the ancients, as I call ‘em. Yeeaa, I’m a sweetheart, it’s a weakness…, but I digress… I’ve got my own personal wrecking crew of 4 rambunctious sons, ages 7 — 14. We moved here from Leesburg, VA, where we’d accidentally found ourselves in a nightmare of manicured lawns, rules up the yazoo, up tight, home-owners association hell. When we got here, we just wanted some freedom, so… making a short story longer… Santa brought 4 ATVs for the boys that Christmas, to help them embrace their newly open living space. They rode them a bit, but I guess my boys are spoiled, apparently, because they haven’t ridden them much at all. The poor ATVs mostly just sat, getting sun damaged for 3 years. Anyhow, my hubby came up the the great idea of offering them to Scooter Xtreme, if they’d come and get them, and would fix up one for our youngest, they could have the other 3. I was shocked that the owners, Anne-Marie & Peter were interested and even picked them up that very day! Hallelujah! I love recycling — it redeems some of my lesser popular traits. They delivered the newly tuned up, rejuvenated ATV a few days later, no cost, no problem. What a fabulous business!
