Management(Jerry) was fantastic. Very friendly and approachable. The transition from breakfast to lunch was smooth and seemed effortless and was done on time. The food was great and the service was great. An overall fantastic experience.

I really enjoyed my meal here during a short stay in Sierra Vista. The food was very good. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The food is always ready! The wait staff can be a little slow when business picks up and they tend to not have tables cleaned and ready for new customers but the food is still ready.

If you do choose to eat here don’t expect good food, just expect mostly edible food that you can eat a lot of for a decent price. Mass produced bland food that is picked over by other patrons(sometimes with their fingers) and is seemingly all served at room temperature. Went once and wouldn’t even consider ever returning. I have eaten at good buffets and this is not one of them. However… From an entertainment perspective the GC isn’t bad, to quote another post, it is like the Wal-Mart of restaurants. You just never know who/what is going to walk through the doors. It didn’t make up for the horrible food, but at least I had a few laughs.

Stop! Unless you are into snot, ear wax, and a little bit of smelly entertainment. That’s what you will find at this place. Sorry, should have posted this last week for those people going today. Seriously, one of the most disgusting venues I have paid money to sit and eat. Only ate the salad, but even that had me worried if it was washed correctly. So, the only description that comes to mind is in the movie«Las Vegas Vacation» when Clark loses all his money and then Cousin Eddie treats him to a nice buffet. Watch that clip for it’s a perfect description of the type of workers they have serving you food. Yikes!

I hold meetings in many different venues. I recently held meetings at this Golden Corral and I am completely satisfied with the service, the food and the costs. Golden Corral does not even charge for the use of the room. Special shout out to Jon the manager and our wait staff: Brianna, Billy and Destiny! And a special thank you to Tanya for helping elderly women get to the room. All the attendees enjoyed their meals and beverages. If you are looking for a venue for a meeting, this is the place for you. Mike Page, Medical Air Services Association

Let’s be clear on one thing: this would easily be a one or two star rating if I didn’t have kids. Of course, if I didn’t have kids, I wouldn’t be reviewing Golden Corral at all, because I wouldn’t be eating there. Now that I have a couple of precious angels, here are a few good reasons to frequent this establishment: 1) No matter how crazy your babies are acting, it’s a guarantee that someone else’s are making yours look good. 2) I don’t even have to bother sneaking in my son’s gluten-free meal or asking for permission. Nobody notices. 3) Great people watching — it’s the Walmart of food service. 4) The food is substandard, but with 2000 selections you’re bound to find something edible. 5) The servers are patient, and do a decent job keeping drinks refilled and removing empty plates. 6) It’s a great place to take aging relatives, who will appreciate the all-you-can-eat feast for all of the wrong reasons. 7) You pay first, so when your progeny usurp the title of «worst behaving kids» you can split without having to wait around.

I don’t know where some of the other reviewers ate, but it doesn’t sound like the place where I just ate. The hot food was hot, the cold food was cold, and everything I ate was tasty. I tried Bourbon Chicken, orange chicken and meat loaf, with corn and salad. Everything was what I expected, at an appropriate temperature, fresh and tasty.

Very unpleasant experience. Our waitress clearly didn’t want to be there, was slamming cups around and giving attitude whenever anyone requested a drink refill. As a vegetarian, there were very few options besides salad and steamed vegetables. I was very excited to find cheese enchiladas, until I got back to my seat and realized they were several hours old. Went back up and asked if another tray would be coming out, and was told«probably not» even though the tray was almost empty and there were several more hours until closing. The chocolate fountain was really yummy and fun, except for the fact that the servers behind the desert bar would only put out three or four strawberries on sticks, and then get frustrated when people would ask for more. My baked potato had sat out so long that it was chewy. I was very disappointing. Those that ate meat though said that the steaks were flat out awesome, and the grill cooks knew what they were doing.

Service — Was excellent. Our waitress kept the glasses full. Food — Expected fare. The green beans were hot and tasty. The wings were mediocre. The brussel sprouts were overcooked. As others have said, the dessert bar is awesome! Our 4 year old thought she had hit the jackpot of restaurants! :) They have a chocolate fountain that you can dip strawberries, marshmallows and cookies. They had éclair cake, cupcakes, soft serve(with toppings), truffles, brownies, carrot cake and more! Sugar Rush is on! :) All in all — A nice place.

Not No but, heck NO!!! This place caters to a very specific crowd. If I like good food, it is not your crowd… Within moments of finishing my meal I had to take a horrible trip to the bathroom. Even after completely flushing my system, I still had this painful feeling in my gut that lasted at least 5 hrs. Stay AWAY!!!

Yummy! They have many choices and are down right yummy but if you are not a fan of people who think taking all of their kids and their friends to a restaurant and do nothing to keep all of them in line, then I would wait till later in the evening during the week to come here, but that also means a few things might empty or low… ie: the pulled pork and left us around 8pm. Besides that, this is a really great place to pick and choose your meal! Come and enjoy!

I came in thinking this place was going to be a Hometown Buffet with better steak. This place is not too shabby though. I liked it! One thing I did not like is the price(10.95/person on Sunday), but I guess they did have their fair share of meat. There are 3 sections. The first section is the salad, fruit, and taco section. I liked all of it. They had a nice selection of fruit — peaches, watermelon, fruit salad, strawberries, oranges, and 1 or 2 more things. There was caesar and regular salad with a good number of toppings. It was noted that they have chunks of ham, chicken, and steak for the salads. They had egg salad, macaroni salad, potato salad, and tuna salad. The taco/nacho bar had good meat. The middle section had a couple different types of ribs(good), steak(cheap, not so good), spaghetti, pizza, sides(mash potatoes, green beans, hush puppies, corn), pot roast, meatloaf, fried chicken, bbq chicken, and brisket. Too much meat. The desserts were good. I loveeeeeeee banana cream pudding, and it was awesome here! They also had couple pies, a smore pizza, brownies, cookies, rice krispie treats, ice cream, and a bunch of other puddings. I liked this place for my first time around. I would recommend!

I’d probably give this place 2 stars based on most of the food. but the dessert bar is pretty awesome. At around 10 bucks to eat at the buffet you better stuff yourself if you want to get your money’s worth. The thing is. there’s not much I’d want to stuff myself with here. The meat was pretty gross– dry chicken, fatty steaks, etc. The meatloaf was better. Yes, I kept trying different things(wasteful) but I really didn’t want to eat things I didn’t like. Mashed potatoes were lumpy. Hush puppies were good, as were the little fried pepper popper things. Super unhealthy but tasty. And the dessert bar. Whoa. Banana cream pudding, chocolate pudding, mudslide cake, choco pudding pie, ice creams and toppings, various pies, etc. saved the day. Wouldn’t go back. but it’s not the worst buffet I’ve ever had. Too much money for what it is though.
