Where do I begin… Let me start with the most disrespectful person I have ever met, Carol. She is the owner along with her husband Shane. Carol is rude, disrespectful and overall horrible person. That being said, my child was at AGA in team for a few years and that is when we noticed the evilness that is Carol. She doesn’t care about our children, what she cares about is the money you bring in. She nickels and dimes you over every little thing. As a team parent WE all seemed like we were walking on eggshells with Carol. Ask other team parents that are no longer at this gym and they will tell you how horrible Carol is. If you want a competitive TEAM experience consider other exceptional gymnastic gyms… SCATS…ALLOLYMPIAGYMNASTICSCENTER. these two gyms have trained Olympic gymnast and they are local gyms. GYMMAX, WILDFIRE and PDGA are good gyms as well… AGA is not the only gym out there. Your child will receive proper training at these places and as customers the parents won’t be treated like trash. There is a reason why AGA has lost many of their TEAM gymnasts. BEWAREOFCAROL and her nastiness. For those parents who take their children to gymnastics classes you don’t see the horrible side of this gym. Like the other Unilocaler said. IF your child makes TEAM you will see what I’m talking about.

Facility itself is very nice. Huge space! My daughter likes coming so far. Parking yes it’s hard to find a spot.

We came here for a birthday party where they rent out the dance studio rooms. The place is pretty awesome and great for groups. The kids get to go play on the gymnastics foam while everyone else scarfs down whatever food is catered. I dont know the price per hour to rent but I’m pretty sure it is economical because the friend that held the party is pretty frugal! Whether dancing, doing gymnastics, or partying… this place is pretty sweet

Hands down, this location is so much better than its previous location down the street on Obispo Ave. They occupied the old Direct Buy building. This facility is immaculate. State of the art building with dance rooms, homework room, lobby area for parents, stadium seating, and the list goes on. However, hands down for the parking situation. AGA shares a strip of parking with about 4 other kid friendly businesses(karate class, batting class etc.) and there are a number of parking slots allocated for each business. My daughter goes about 4:30, so finding parking isn’t that bad. I still may have to circl around and/or impatiently sit in my car in hopes a car is leaving. But that 6pm class though. Ooh wee, forget about peacefully finding a spot. At this time the parking lot looks like a funeral procession. Cars from both directions are lined behind each other. Then you have the parents that are trying to leave who are blocked in because of the«funeral procession». Yeah, it’s not a good look at this time. Besides the parking, I really have no complaints. Classes are a bit expensive. For my daughter’s skill group, it’s $ 113 a month(1 class per week). But my daughter loves coming, so I don’t mind investing in my daughter.

The Facility itself is a 5 star it’s beautiful. They have stadium style comfortable seating for the parents. Lounges for the parents, rooms for the parents… At one point I thought I was at Starbucks. Oh they got this big floor for the kids too. Hmm seems like this place is more for the parents … You can stay here and take pictures of your child all day and post them on FB and say your child is amazing. 1star for customer service especially if your new and/or do not know any of the staff. I looked like a lost puppy when I came in to check this facility out. The other staff members doesn’t seem to know who’s new or not either because not a single staff member smiled, looked or greeted me to ask if I needed help. I asked one and she just pointed to the front. No one was at the front. I went back to that staff member and she pointed to the side where they pay tuition. I just needed staff member to talk to me and get some information… the mature lady at the side desk told me it’s not really for boys because boys get into other sports at age 6 and up anyways. 3 star for the price: just a little to high compared to others. In the end they were not geared for boys age 6 and up. My son came from Southbay gymnastics in Torrance and they recently closed because the owner(Jerry) passed away.

My review is LOOOONG over due! My daughter has been coming here for almost 1.5 years, she and I both love the place. The instructors are really nice, and definitely know what they’re doing. I’m looking forward to having her here for many years to come. The only CONS about the place is the parking, with the new move parking can be very difficult. Also, they switch instructors often, and my mighty is introduced to a new instructor to who she gets used to and a few months later the instructor is switched. Miss Natalie was our favorite.

My niece takes her daughter here. She loves it a lot, but the parking for us adults is extremely horrible. One of reasons they moved was because of the horrible parking at the old location. This place is worse. Not sure how the city of Signal Hill even approved this location for them.
