After researching a lot of personal fitness trainer’s and based on the Unilocal reviews, I went ahead and went with these chaps and my experience with the whole program was very good and pretty positive.
At the time when I was searching, my head was in the right place, I saved some extra money and I was ready to try to get fit and lose lots fat. Brandon and Rey are a great bunch of guys. They’re both very helpful with your training and are very attentive and encouraging.
Brandon has a good 21 day start nutritional program that’s super easy to follow. Anything that is worth having, it takes a little bit of preparation and actually doing the work that needs to be done in order to get the results you need.
What’s great about this program or any program, is that you get out of it what you put into it. Just like learning how to play guitar or piano or learning a foreign language — exercising and eating correctly is a behavior that you have to put effort into. Did I lose the fat I wanted to loose? I spent 12 weeks, three days a week for an hour and what we have to show for this?
I lost just a little bit of fat, but nothing even near where I wanted to lose, and that’s because I didn’t apply myself like I should have to get the results.
But I did acquired some upper body definition which is a plus, as well as the mindset of liking exercise and appreciating it, and seeing it as a necessity that I could do weekly. Before, I had to talk myself into just walking 2 miles — so that change of mind is a big plus.
There’s no car salesman hard selling and if you are willing to do what’s needed, then I would definitely recommend these guys.

Brandon and team are the best trainers in long beach. They strike just the right balance of motivation and compassion to make working out and eating right a regular part of your life and routine. The 21 day kick start is so well organized it’s easier to maintain and really changed the way I look at food and exercise. By the time it was over I was totally hooked. Now it’s been 6 months and I can’t imagine not being a part of the belong to fitness family. There’s no intimidation factor with anyone at the gym, everyone there is just trying to be healthier and stronger. I’ve had trouble with my shoulder since an injury in high school and Brandon has tailored my workouts to pretty much get rid of the pain and help me work through it when it flares up. Jut try it… you won’t regret it.

I started with Brandon in March for a 12 week program. I am 44 years old and considered myself in fairly good condition but I was looking to lose about 10 – 15 pounds and really focus on toning up. With Brandon’s program, I was able to lose the weight and definitely saw a pretty big difference at the end of 12 weeks. I decided to keep going and I continue to see results. It has now been over 6 months and I am very satisfied with my results and look forward to the changes over the coming 6 months. I also started with a bad knee which required me to wear a brace when doing any running or heavier exercise and with his strengthening exercises focusing on this area-​I am now brace free and have been for a few months. I really appreciate the support and genuine care that he gives his clients.
He works with your individual needs and strengths to find what works for you. He provides a bullet proof nutrition plan which works amazingly (as long as you follow it) and combined with his training-​he really has a successful program.

Brandon Long and his team at BELONG 2 Fitness have been encouraging, motivating, and dedicated to helping me get fit.
When I first started training with Brandon, I was extremely weak from a nerve disorder and I was having issues with my hip, knee, and ankle being out of alignment. Brandon’s knowledge and background in kinesiology helped tremendously.
He has been very careful to make sure I don’t over-​exert my body or muscles in any way that could cause me further injury.
Over the past few months he has been training me, I have become stronger and more toned. Most of all I am thankful that he has helped me regain my health.
I have to give him 5 stars for his overall expertise and professionalism!

Love working out with belong 2 fitness i have gotten stronger and doing things i never thought i had the strenght to do always feeling great every time its a new experience it never gets boring i have come a long way and have strugled to loose weight i have lost it know im gaining muscle woohoo! I also have diabetes2 but its so cool that when i started with brandon i was taking one pill a day know i only take one if i need it wich is very rare like one every two weeks because my sugar never spikes up so nothing is stopping me know thanks Brandon Long

Brandon and his team are AWESOME! They genuinely care about your fitness goals and nutrition. I started with them in November 2014 and so far I’m down about 16lbs. Brandon gave me a meal plan which I honestly did not follow, but used more as a reference. Otherwise I would have lost more weight! I love my carbs too much! LOL! i do have more energy and I feel a lot better about myself. If you are looking for a great team of people, contact Brandon. You will be HAPPY you did!

I signed up for a 8 week transformation program at the Pasadena location. I met with Mark for a consultation on a Thursday and I signed up for the program and paid $ 480.00 up front for this program which was scheduled to start on the following Monday. Mark said for me to come back on Saturday at 10am to meet with Paul so that Paul can take my measurements and go over some exercises with me to see where I’m at in that area. I showed up Saturday at 10am. No one knew who Paul was or who belong 2 fitness was. I waited in the back (where the office is located) and in the front after awhile of no one showing up to the office. I only had Mark’s telephone number and I made several calls to his number, but just received a recording saying «the google subscriber is not available». I sent several text messages to Mark letting him know I was there and no one knows who Paul is. As I was waiting I started thinking this was a scam because now no one is answering my calls or text messages. I called my credit card company to cancel the charge. I sent an email to belong 2 fitness advising them of this. The at 10:50 am while I’m still at the gym waiting I get a call from «Paul» saying that he never made it to the gym and is no where near the gym and asked if we can reschedule because Mark booked this appointment at the last minute. So, your going to tell me that Paul couldn’t call me Friday to reschedule? Paul couldn’t call me early Saturday morning to reschedule? Paul couldn’t call me at lease at 10:00am on Saturday? But, Paul that it was ok to call me 50 minutes after our appointment. I told Paul I’m not interested in their service anymore. Then once I hung up I had an email from Mark saying he will cancel the membership and refund my money and that he was sorry, but Mark said Paul was there at 10am in the back of the gym which wasn’t true because I was there on time and in the back on time and Paul confirmed himself that he just didn’t make it due to the last minute booking. THESE GUYS ARE JUST SIMPLY IRRESPONSIBLE!!! Who wants to sign up with irresponsible trainers? So disappointed!!! Brandon if your the owner of this company I really hope you get on these guys!!! I would be embarrass if I was the only and extremely upset. Not only does it make your company look bad, but you guys just started at this location and are already losing business! Does anyone take pride in their work these days? Update… I’m changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because although they made a mistake at least they refunded me like they said they would. Got my refund!

Brandon is so great to work with! I came to him after months is what I thought was working out and eating right and losing hardly any weight. He was able to adjust my meal plan and workout regimen so that I maximize my results effectively. I lost 8 lbs the first month with him. I could not have been happier.

Best decision I’ve made in a long time, Brandon is awesome and really knows a lot about nutrition and exercise. I didn’t know a whole lot about eating right and how to properly work out in a gym using the equipment, but brandon’s been there the whole time guiding me and walking me through everything. Thanks to him I’ve lost 15 pounds so far and am gaining muscle mass, I’m really happy and excited with my results. I highly recommend Brandon to anyone looking to make a change, get healthy, and want to feel good about themselves.

Brandon is amazing. I am so happy with my results so far and feel strong inside and out. His experience and education in the human body has helped my back and neck feel and look better (back fat is almost completely gone!). All of the little issues I have he knows how to work through without hurting me like other trainers have done in the past. With all of the benefits to my body I must say that I enjoy working out with him, it’s fun and rewarding. Thank you Brandon!!!

This is my second time around with Brandon, I worked out with him last year as I hit a plateau in my weight and wanted someone to guide me to the rest of my weight loss. After 4months I went from 165lbs to 138lbs, then got pregnant and stopped working out with him. I then had my baby March 2014 and wanted to lose baby weight I had gained. My starting weight was 162lbs and I now weigh 134lbs. I started in July 2014 (4months postpartum) and as of now I am still training with him and his team. Brandon is very knowledgable at what he does and guides you through the process, all you have to do is listen and be willing to do what he suggests. Of course everyone has a different weight loss timeline, but as long as you listen, you will learn so many new things that will help you in your path to a healthier you…

Awesome program! It promised weight loss and it does exactly that! 14 lbs lost in the program duration. The most valuable thing is not so much the pounds lost but the new lifestyle that you learn from it. It is not just a quick fix but if you continue on your own after you will continue to see the results. For the time being due to my schedule I need to take some time away from the program but definitely will be back! Brandon is great I have a previous knee injury so that was one of my biggest concerns and he definitely knew how to accommodate the workouts so I did not hurt myself. He definitely knows how to make a workout worth it. A very energetic and enthusiastic trainer which helps you want to go beyond your original goal. Love the fact you bond with the other clients in your group and are able to share nutrition ideas and tips. The nutrition part of the program could be a bit more emphasized yet it is not bad a great way for any non nutrition guru to begin such as myself. Overall a great program that if you put in all your effort you will see results weather it is loosing inches or pounds. Most importantly you will learn to love yourself even more as you evolve into a more fantastic you! Great program you wont be disappointed.

been trained with brandon it was a great experience i lost 14 pounds in 6 weeks 2 waist measurements i learn a lot about fitness and healthy choices. i totally recommend him as a trainer he even was able to work with my schedule great experience and workouts are awesome you feel the burn but you don’t feel the time i’ll keep coming to the programs to reach my second goal and keep it up with the exercises

Brandon is one of the most knowledgeable trainers at the gym. Unlike other trainers who only get certified as a trainer, Brandon went to school and received his undergrad in Kinesiology. He understands body mechanics and cares about the well-​being of his clients. Recovery and rehabilitation is just as important as losing 10lbs. I highly recommend Brandon as he has educated me on all aspect of a healthy lifestyle.
With Brandon, I gain 30lbs of solid muscle, went down 2 waist sizes; and gain valuable knowledge about nutrition, muscle function, and recovery.
Give this guy a goal and he will do everything to help you get there.

Just started working out with Brandon. He was highly recommended. I have not been disappointed. He works you hard and takes into consideration what you want to accomplish. His meal plan has all the basics and is easy to follow with a little bit of preparation. I’m looking forward to seeing the changes my body will be making.

Brandon was my trainer for three months. In those three months he taught me how to eat healthy workout and feel good about myself. He always knew I good do it so he pushed me to do things I never thought I could do. My success was great I lost 20 pounds and I feel great. Due to my work schedule I had to put my training on hold for the rest of the year. I hope to be back soon. Brandon Long has a great background in rehab therapy and functional fitness. Brandon’s training is highly varied so you will never do the same workout twice, and because of this, you reach your fitness goals so much quicker. Personal training works very well for me and weekly appointments with Belong 2 fitness keeps me in a fitness toutine even when I have no Motivation…
I have been training with Brandon for the past year and he is a true professional, extremely knowledgeable and committed to his clients. The atmosphere of the gym is welcoming, comfortable and client centric. Best of all Brandon makes a point to understand his clients individual traning goals and to keep workouts varied, interesting and challenging.
I find Brandon to be very fair with his pricing for the amont of service that he provides and quite copetitive in the long beach and surronding areas. I also appreciate that Brandon has a backround of physical therapy, which helps me when I am hurting in some areas.
