Del Taco

So frustrated every time I make the mistake of going here. Service has gone downhill greatly, save for one or 2 shining stars who get orders correct and are polite. Several occasions have resulted in missing food or incorrect orders. Breakfast burritos with only egg? It’s just far enough away to make me shut up and accept my awful food as punishment for visiting. I’d have contacted customer service but there’s no number on the website and I didn’t receive a receipt. Sorry to say I won’t be going back.

Everytime we come here there is ALWAYS something wrong… Annoying!!! whether it missing food, food not served properly or their service. which sucks. STAY AWAY !! Pch store has been the best one by far.

Dropping a star due to inconsistent service, last night certainly wasn’t an exception.
Came here to grab a couple burritos to take home. Literally two burritos, specifically the 2For Del Beef. It was Taco Tuesday, so it was busy. Placed my order at 6:10pm.
6:15, other people getting their orders, no problem. 6:20, dang I picked the wrong night to come here… leaving a tip on Unilocal.6:27, OK this is fucking ridiculous… it can’t possibly take them this long for two damn burritos. Got back in line to get money back.
A crew member (at least someone was astute enough to notice) saw me back in line and asked «is anyone still waiting?». I just held up my receipt and walked to the counter (didn’t even notice if there was anyone else, but at this point I was really pissed). I heard from the powwow behind the counter that my order went out with a to-​go order, so I had to wait a couple more minutes while they sorted that Charlie Foxtrot out. Other than an offer for fries or a drink (yes, she said «or»), there was no apology… but this *is* Del Taco so I’m not expecting to get comped.
Contacted corporate, so let’s see of there’ll be any corrective action taken or if I get a comp. NOTE: Be advised they’re busy as hell on Tuesdays, so avoid that day if possible (or just be prepared to wait).
UPDATE: Three hours after I submitted my compliant to corporate, their owner/​general manager called me and wanted to know what happened. I summarized the above, emphasizing that while not unique to his store, the drive-​thru seems to be the priority. He assured me this wasn’t the case and offered to comp my next meal. Don’t know how that’s going to happen, saying «Jose sent me» and showing a note I took during the call might not suffice as a voucher.

I like to eat here sometimes only when I’m lazy to drive somewhere else after buying stuff from costco. The staff are friendly and fast. I Like ordering tacos cause there cheap on Tuesday. But the fries are super salty and they need to change their oil cause the fries are pretty dark and tasted burnt. That’s how you can tell if it need to be change guys FYI. BTW I’m rating this at 2.5 stars.

To start, it was around noon so I expected the drive-​thru line to be long (which it was) the staff working drive-​thru were very courteous. When I pulled up to the window I was asked if I wanted sauce and I replied with my choice of sauce. She handed me my receipt and my bag and I asked if the sauce was there and was told yes, so I drove away. I should have double checked but I did not. When I got to my destination to eat my meal I discovered that in fact there was no sauce, that I had been given Diet Coke instead of regular, that my chicken soft taco consisted of a rock hard tortilla and virtually inedible and that my classic taco had no meat. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. I will not be returning to this location. I would give a zero-​star rating if it was possible.

As the current reigning Duke of this Del Taco I feel as the most qualified Unilocaler to review this place. I can tell you with all certainty that this place deserves a solid 3.
Why you may ask??? Well to keep it concise, lemme tell you three crucial things you need to know:
Sometimes this place can have outstanding service or it can have really shitty service, it just depends who’s working there at the given time I guess.
Sometimes this place can have really good tasting fresh food, and other times it can have you telling yourself that this is the last time you’ll ever step foot into this establishment again.
Sometimes this place can have really efficient service, and other times you’ll wonder to yourself wtf is taking them so damn long? For example, this morning around 10 AM, it took them just over 5 minutes to get me 3 things from the dollar menu (mind you I was the only car in the drive thru window) which is kinda long in my book.
It’s a love hate relationship with this place but sometimes it just hits the spot.

I would rate it a zero if I could. They turn off the fryer when it gets late. NO FRIES, NO NACHOS, NO TACOS. Then explain please why would this business stay open. Worse service in the area. Don’t come here

I usually frequent this del taco as it’s just 3 blocks from my home. Im a fan of del taco fries fries and bean burritos. Usually, when i get my food the fries are hot and fresh. Tonight… uh no. Took a bite of a fry and it was lukewarm at best with no salt. They even seemed kinda tough like they weren’t cooked through. The bean burritos were cold also. cheese wasn’t even melted and the consistency of the bean were thick and hard as a rock. Wth man…20 bucks of food wasted. Should’ve sampled the food in the car on the way home like usual. Lol

Disgusting! Found a big piece of plastic paper inside my taco! Do not come here!!!

Always a must stop when I’m in town!

Please don’t go here. I am still seriously traumatized & I wasn’t even the victim! I ordered the new fresco chicken bowl, my friend ordered 2 tacos and a quesadilla… after leaving the drive thru we found a spot to grub on our lunch break… let me just add I am not to fond of del taco but the prices lured us here, big mistake. More than halfway through my friends taco she found a DEAD FLY! I repeat a DEAD FLY. *gag* x2000. I couldn’t even continue to eat and she immediately threw up. I just had to see for myself, don’t ask why but I did and I snapped a pic just to save anyone the trip there! Please. I will add they were extremely apologetic and refunded our meals but it’s just so unacceptable I had to write this.

Del Taco emergency/​hangover/​drunk food… open late night to bail you out. This location could use a good cleaning. Dirty floors good typically good and fast section leader is taking order, handling money, customers, no Bueno let’s keep it santinary

Waited in a long line and really don’t care if ppl I know see this but waiting in a long line after a long day at work, then ordering food from their Drive Thru and super happy and excited to finally eat then when you get to the window after waiting in that long line they tell you their systems are down and they’re only accepting cash. I only had card. Seriously? Sped off pissed. Horrible.

Went through the drive thru today for lunch with the family. The last thing I was ordering was 2 small sprites. The cashier kept thinking I said 2 small fries. After repeating 3 times she says so you want 2 small fries and a sprite? I was like no just 2 small sprites. She gave me a total that was higher than expected and I asked if she added fries because I didn’t want them. With an attitude she repeats the order and sure enough she had added 2 fries and 1 sprite. Finally I got it right and we got to the window. They forgot ²⁄₄ straws and all 4 quesadillas were burnt!!! I mean black. We salvaged 2 of them for our 2 young girls. Horrible experience.

I am not a huge fast food fan, but was in desperate need for food. I walked I need to order and the girl at the front was unbelievably friendly. She was pretty helpful of what to order, her favorites since I haven’t ever had breakfast at del taco before. Her recommendation were on point!

Went through the drive-​thru and it was fast… received my order in a timely order. Ty

I have decided I like Del Taco far better then Taco Hell. Plus if ya use their coupons that come in the Sunday paper, they’re a steal of a deal. Haha, I should get paid for this promo ad. Hey! Mr. Del Taco?

3 Regular Tacos for $ 1.09? Wooooo!
Me and my brothers were craving Tacos today since it was Tuesday, and Del Taco answered our cravings. Del Taco has this special on Tuesday and Thursday known as Taco Nights. On these days at 3pm to 11pm, you can purchase 3 regular tacos for $ 1.09, or 3 grilled tacos for an extra buck.
I’m not sure how long this promotion will last, but If you’re hungry, craving tacos, and not willing to spend big money, then I recommend coming to Del Taco! Hurry before the promotion period ends! :D

I don’t tend to eat fast food, and I am health conscious. SOOOO the fact that Del Taco started making Turkey tacos with 33% less fat caught my eye. I was skeptical of the flavor — although I cook at home with turkey sometimes. I was so happy with the turkey taco taste! (say that fast 3 times!!)
It really helps me out in a pinch to have a fast food go-​to!

The sign said New Turkey Tacos and Turkey Tostadas at Del Taco that’s what lured me in today.
I’ve never been a huge fan of Del Taco my visits were always on a once in awhile basis.
With years in between Taco Bell was my favorite.
I ordered a Turkey Taco Turkey Tostada and a Beef Taco and a Strawberry Lemonade.
It would have been nice if the server told which taco was turkey. Lol
Turkey Taco ???
This taco had lettuce pico de gallo and shredded cheese, the meat was a bit grainy and pasty but it actually tasted alright the toppings were nice and fresh and the mild sauce I added was really tasty I’m guessing this one was turkey.
Turkey Tostada
It didn’t look good when I opened the container. The lettuce was wilted and the cheese melted onto the grainy looking meat it was visually unappealing. I took a small bite the shell was crispy and the meat was ok and after I added taco sauce it was much better.
I would order this again and eat it inside to avoid it turning soggy on the way home.
Ground Beef Taco
The meat was firmer with a slight pastiness it had lettuce and shredded cheese the shell was nice and crisp I added two packs of taco sauce this one was pretty good and if they added tomatoes it would taste much better. I would order this one again.
The food wasn’t memorable but what did stand out was the freshness that the lettuce and the pico de gallo added to the taco the shredded cheese was nice and flavorful way better than the waxy tasting cheese and soy-​like meat at Taco Bell.
Strawberry Lemonade
It was thin and watery and tasted a bit like artificially flavored sugar-​water and the strawberries they added to the drink were soggy and looked gross on the bottom of the cup. I won’t order this again.
After noticing all of the new items on the menu from soft chicken tacos to chicken bowls salads and more. I will probably give them another chance.
