They are good people. I volunteered for them for a week building computers for them. It was very nice, and I thought they were very good people that are working to make the world a nicer place. For a week, they certainly made my world a nicer place.

After recently moving, I was about 10 steps from taking a box of CDs, VHS tapes, and cassette tapes to the dumpster when I thought… that doesn’t seem very responsible or environmentally friendly. Can’t they be recycled? The answer is yes. New Generation Empowerment Group is a fantastic venture, and wonderful service for the community. Shell, the owner is a very generous and passionate humanitarian. He goes to about 6 sites in Long Beach on a daily basis and once a week on Mondays he operates behind Living Green in Culver City. Shell can take all of your e-waste…computer monitors, keyboards, MP3 players, cable wires, CDs, laptops, etc. He disposes of these things responsibly… scrubbing your techno-trash of all the personal information before recycling them in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Love the concept… fast and easy… convenient, and a genuinely nice guy.
