I get breakfast here a few times a week and it’s good. I saw someone complain about the ATM issue. I think they take cards now I always send mine with a driver to pick up food without issues. I do think in the past there was a cash only problem and I guess they finally changed their ways.

Have been here several times for lunch. Have had several different sandwiches from their menu. All were good but I tend to have the turkey, avocado and bacon most often. Nice family run business that offers fresh baked bread as an option for your sandwich. They are always fast and efficient at getting your order out. I have never had an issue with the food or service. They serve breakfast but I have only grabbed a breakfast burrito a few times. Their breakfast burrito is very good, inexpensively priced, and not greasy. This is a nice little family run business that I am happy to support. The one pitfall here is that they have very limited seating if you choose to eat in.

My boyfriend and I are sandwich lovers, and we’ve been wanting to try new sandwich places since the ones near us in Long Beach aren’t as good as they used to be. So we looked up Sub King and saw the good reviews so we decided we had to try it. We got Super Reuben, Triple Decker and the Tuna Melt. They were delicious! I always like trying tuna melts at different places and tend to be disappointed(I know it sounds like something I’m being really finicky about) but Sub King’s tuna melt was so good! Best I’ve had in a long time. The other two sandwiches were delicious, too. Great job, Sub King. We’ll be coming here for our sandwich fix more often.

Went here for the first time and was greeted with a smile. Very friendly workers which are hard to find. Ordered a Veggie Burger which was great. If you want a good home cook meal, please stop here. They are fast!!!

Came here today. I got the French dip with au jus sauce! Pretty good! Similar to Arby’s but feels a little more homemade rather than Arby’s. I got the 8 inch sandwich. For some reason, I was super hungry that morning, because I hadn’t had anything to eat till around 12ish at this place, and I was moving around a lot of big things as well(The bae moved apartments this week!). The guys both got the tuna supreme, 12 inches long. I had taken a bite of his tuna supreme, and it was pretty good, though probably more than I could have finished! I don’t eat that much. and If I come back I’d probably eat the 8 inch tuna supreme! :) #nomnom good food!

Their home made squaw roll(dark brown bread) ISSODELICIOUS!!! I have never ever had sandwich bread taste soooo good. Everyone must try it. The turkey+avocado sandwich on the dark bread is amazing. You will not regret ordering it. It’s sort of small inside, with around 10 tables for like 2 people each. About half a mile away from the 405. Fast service, nice people. Great subs. Only reason I put 4 stars is because i went once with my boyfriend and he ordered the tuna sandwich and I ordered a turkey + avo. They gave us both tuna. I didn’t feel like complaining or anything and I was really hungry.

Good sub shop. They use to be much better. Other restaurants like Sub King as well had to keep their profit margin up by cutting the cost of their ingredients. I have seen this many, many times. But they are still good. Their sandwiches are very good and service is not that bad. They close early(3pm weekdays?) since it doesn’t make sense for them to stay open to sell only a few sandwiches.

Good sub shop. They have really good fresh bread loafs for their sandwich. They sell out by 3pm on the loaf so you have to get normal sliced bread.

To me a good sandwich is based on the bread. Sub King offers fresh baked sub rolls for most of their sandwiches upon request. The prices are reasonable and the sandwiches are very good. My favorites have been the Italian Cold Cut and the King Club on the house bread. It’s a little shop that is tucked away in a strip mall and the parking can be a little tricky but it’s worth the effort.

This place is awesome. Small little sandwich place run by a Korean family. Their sandwiches are fresh, light, and BIG for your dollar. They make fresh home made bread which is pretty yummy too. Great place to go for your money.

I went to Togo’s once. I questioned my manhood that evening. Sub King is super affordable, pleasant, and have the best Turkey, Ham, and Avocado out here. Their service is consistently prompt and enjoyable. I make sure to tell my co-workers!

The owner(the old Korean guy) is a jerk! He didn’t give me or my friend the right order and he refused to correct it. And when I said I’d buy the large drink out of my pocket he refused to sell me it. Horrible. PS. The sandwiches aren’t that great anyways. But my dog enjoys them.

From the outside this place doesn’t look like much at all. I was never intrigued enough to walk in even though I always go to the donut shop next door. But today I decided I wanted something different for breakfast. They have really cheap options for sandwiches, burritos, and other things. I got a ham and cheese croissant with mayo and coffee. This combo was only 5.44 including tax. It’s empty in the morning so they’re really fast. They are quick and friendly korean family that runs this place. They also have orange juice and other drinks like sobe.

Near one of the fire stations I have to visit as part of my job, and when the fire fighters eat somewhere, I have confidence it’s going to be good. My supervisor that works near here regularly gets a sandwich here, so it came highly recommended. I tried the super Reuben sandwich, which was a fair steal at $ 6. Great sandwich, rich flavor from the pastrami and corned beef with a nice crunch from the sauerkraut. Nicely toasted rye bread, great service, and tons of sandwich options mean I’ll be coming again soon

Love this little hidden gem, though I am disappointed that they aren’t open on the weekends since they have pretty amazing Breakfast Burritos. All the sandwiches are pretty good, they do bake some of their own breads… But you have to get their early before they run out. Service is always on point, and they are really quick. Highly Highly recommend the breakfast burrito, I do think they stop serving them at 11 am though.
