This is the stuff dreams are made of. I grew up on Signal and everything I have ever eaten from here is amazing. Their cheese bread (I believe it is sourdough with bits of cheese baked in — SO good), thumbprint cookies, and cream cheese muffins are my favorites! They also have incredible cakes. If you go on a Saturday be sure to get there early, because they sell out of the most popular stuff pretty quickly sometimes!!!

Hands down absolutely the best bakery nearby. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful! I am in love with the cream cheese brownie and five flavor pound cake. Definitely recommend to my friends and family and stop by when i can!

Love this place. Very friendly staff and absolutely have the best sour dough bread, cream cheese danish… well, actually I haven’t had anything that wasn’t great. They can make gift boxes that can also be shipped. Must stop place for us when traveling thru the area.

I grew up on Signal Mountain with the Bread Basket and have lived all over the country for the past 10 years. I have never found a bakery as delicious as the BB. My favorites are the cream cheese muffin, danishes, wheat sourdough, cinnamon loaf, and yeast rolls. You can’t go wrong with anything there. Also, their gift boxes are always a hit. I’ve sent them all over as a thank you or hostess gift – always to rave reviews!
Just be sure to order early around the holidays, because everyone wants their rolls!
