Let’s start with saying the food was amazing. I had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. The service however was completely horrible. When asking for more creamer she proceeded to dump the creamers we had in the center of our table in a frustrated manner. Patience was lacking. We felt rushed and not welcomed. Observing other servers with the other guests was night and day between our server and them. They treated their guest well. I would return but would demand a different server.

Great little place to grab breakfast! The dining area is a bit small. Would recommend larger space but food is very good and reasonably priced

Cathy’s Corner is a staple of the Northwest Arkansas area. I have eaten there numerous times before but it had been awhile since I was there and decided it was time to go back. They are working on some updates to the facility, each week they are closed on Tuesdays to do these facility upgrades. The facility is very quaint and what you would expect for a nice little southern restaurant. It is kept clean and inviting. Our waitress, Freida was very attentive, and was working circles around the other wait staff. We arrived at Cathy’s Corner a little after 10am, they start serving lunch at 10:30am so we decided to order a ala carte of gravy, biscuit and hash browns to have before our lunch came. After about 15 to 20 minutes and seeing others that had been seated after us that were getting their food, I finally spoke to Freida about our breakfast order and told her to just cancel it. We were informed that the kitchen had gotten behind. So she had them remove that from the order. For our lunch we ordered the sampler platter for our appetizer, as well as an order of mozzarella sticks($ 5.99 for the mozzarella sticks order). For our mains we ordered the mushroom and swiss burger, medium well, and the Lil Al burger, medium well. In addition I ordered a cup of the soup of the day, which was beans with corn bread. From what I was told the fries, traditional and curly, are made from scratch as were the potato skins. The mozzarella sticks and onion rings though are bought in. I am not sure about the wings as I forgot to ask about them. The fries were very good and well seasoned. The potato skins were also well cooked and the seasoning was spot on. For bought in mozzarella sticks these had a good taste. The onion rings were also good. And the chicken wings were also very good. So, I would definitely recommend the sampler platter. It was $ 8.99 The soup of the day was a bean soup with corn bread. The soup and the cornbread were very tasty and hit the spot. A cup sized portion ran us $ 1.99 and well worth it. The Lil Al burger was ordered with cheese(added $ .50) and bacon(added $ .99) and was ordered as a medium well. When it came out it was more of a well but close enough to not be an issue. On the receipt it showed as well, not medium well. The overall taste was good, though it did have a tad too much mayo, other than that it was a winner. The mushroom and swiss burger was ordered as a medium well, and came as expected in regards to the cook and temperature. This burger was the only real disappointment of our entire meal. The burger was so inundated with grease that the bottom part of the bun was soaked, to a point that it was so flat that you could not really tell it was a bun. The grease was all over the plate and literally dripped from the sandwich when I held it. I can’t really recommend this one to my readers if this is the normal execution for this sandwich. After our main meal was finished I decided to order two to-go orders of the buffalo wings and take home. They came with carrot and celery sticks along with blue cheese for dipping. And they were very good. In summary: Cathy’s Corner is good wholesome food and I have never had an issue with service in any of my visits there. I have only had a couple of «misses» here and there and if you tell them about it, they will take care of it for you. And that speaks to their commitment to customer service. So I would recommend this restaurant to my readers, if you are in the Siloam Springs area stop by and give them a try.

Unless you are looking to ingest your entire calorie count for the day, and you will want to because the food is great, come prepared to split. The portions are very American and huge. This is the spot my son and I go before we have our bicycle races and its a lot of fun to stop in. Double check their hours before stopping in but definitely make it out.

Love this place. feels like home. Fast service! We go almost every Saturday morning for breakfast. Parking isn’t great but that’s only because there are so many people trying to get in. grwat business! Love when they decorate for Christmas so cute.

Hot, fast, and large portions. Friendly staff and the price is right. The family had a Haystack, Banana Split Waffle, Breakfast Burrito, and Silver Dollar Pancakes. All agreed that it was delicious. For about $ 7 per person the price can’t be beat.

I had high hopes for this restaurant. It looked great from the reviews. However it wasn’t exactly the homecookin I’m used to eating. It was okay but nothing outstanding. The chicken fried steak batter wasn’t the crispy or flaky yummy kind. The server was very nice but brought our salads with the main course(hate that!!!) It was busy but got seated right away. Service was slow but not crazy slow! My kids ate grilled cheese and a pb&j and they loved it. The atmosphere is cozy and kid friendly. The prices are appropriate but I won’t be back. It’s just… meh. My mom* is making me add she had the best coleslaw ever here. *it should be noted my mom thinks everything is the«greatest» so as to not hurt the cooks feelings.** **is should also be noted she says that is not true and I’m a brat

Come here when you want a huge breakfast or lunch and have a lot of time. The food is traditional diner fare, and the staff is friendly. The dining room is always full, and since it is small, it is noisy, but in a good way. We like to go here every once in a while for a big breakfast. The omelettes are huge, as are the hamburgers.

The food was 3*, but the service bumps the place up to a 4*. We were driving through and looking for somewhere local to eat(not a chain). i was hoping to get home cooked food here, which is not quite what we got, but it was still good. I had the chicken fried steak with fried okra, mashed potatoes and a roll. The chicken fried steak was pre-breaded, which was disappointing, but the mashed potatoes were the real thing, and the gravy wasn’t bad. My kids loved their food — chicken strips, fried shrimp and potato skins. Clearly we were not going for health platters. Though the food was not awesome, the staff were remarkably friendly and helpful. We have an interesting family(I’m white, my kids are black), so not everyone is friendly when we’re driving through small towns. The staff here, as well as the other diners who sat next to us, chatted with my kids and I the whole time were were there and appeared sincerely interested in our recent camping adventures. I suspect that if we’d been there earlier in the day(we closed the place down!) and/or if we’d ordered breakfast, I would have been more pleased with the food. Regardless, we’ll be back if we’re ever in Siloam Springs again.

It’s the same old«Good Ol’ Boy» hangout. Looking around the dining room one only sees construction workers working on their first heart attack or waiting for their next. This time I tried the«Heystack» as someone on Unilocal recommended. A good value by volume, buy the grease(that drips from your fork) testes old. There is enough for three in one serving but I can’t find two friends I would make eat like this. The only bonus is that they have a couple of waitresses who are very entertaining in their tight, ripped, jeans and t-shirts. Not very classy but it distracts from hearing your arteries screaming for help as they are clogging up with grease! Would it really hurt that much to pave their parking lot?!

We have eaten here a few times. We really love the southern hospitality and cooking. There is a lot of non-healthy choices even if your trying to get something such as green beans. We got a bowl and ¾ was butter or grease. However, the taste was fantastic! I will not order green beans again though. My breakfast entrée was almost to die for though! I will be seeing the same thing again very soon! Price is good too! We had 3 people under $ 30! That’s unheard of. :-)

Good thing I don’t live close or else I’d be eating here all the time. I ordered the 3 egg omelette corn beef hash with biscuit and gravy. My wife ordered a cranberry pecan salad and both meals were really great. Good size portions. They were busy when we visited but the service was still fast. Only one women’s and only one men’s bathroom for a busy restaurant means you might have to wait if you need to go.

Granted, I haven’t tried them all, but so far this is the best reuben in northwest Arkansas. I’m not kidding. Reuben fans, you must go here. Everything else I’ve had there has been good, but that’s what stands out.

Large sign on the wall reads«Good Food» and that sums it up. Not great, but good. Menu is unimaginative, and the veggie selection weak(seemed like their was bacon in every dish.). Service was very slow, but friendly. All that said, my spouse thought the chicken strips were the best she’s eaten. Only open to 2PM.

Being from out of town I didn’t know exactly what to expect from a city of less than 13000. I went with a friend who lives there so I figured it would be «ok» at best cheap. I was pleasantly surprised by the food and atmosphere. First the Food. It was short of amazing. It came out HOT and fast but not fast food. Tasted very homemade. They have these dishes they call«the skillets». Awesome!!! Price is very reasonable. This is a small town restaurant with small town prices. Hope this help
