Forrest’s Pizza

Best pizza I’ve ever had, and the garlic knots are amazing! He makes everything from scratch and you can taste the difference. Definitely the place to go for pizza.

The pizza was very good here. I couldn’t eat it fast enough! It was fast and reasonably priced. Looks like they get the ingredients from around town so that’s always a plus. Slices are served during lunch hours. Also, the hours are off by one day. They are actually open on Tuesdays from 11am-​8pm.

It’s been 14 years since we left NJ, where good pizza is considered a high art form. When we traveled around the USA, we’d try pizzerias in different towns, but I was never impressed with their quality (OK, I may be a bit of a pizza snob). I heard a lot of reasons why «NY Style» pizza couldn’t be duplicated out west: «The water is too hard» (a very common one), «The altitude doesn’t allow the dough to whatever» etc etc. Well… I FOUND THE PLACE, and it’s right here in my Silver City, NM neighborhood: Forrest’s Pizza! AND they sell pizza «by the slice». I enjoyed two slices on Thursday… PIZZA HEAVEN! I forecast my pizza intake is going to increase dramatically. BMH folks: TRY THIS PLACE, it’s right on Bullard, at The Hub Marketplace. You won’t be disappointed!

It was one of the best pizza’s I have ever had. Unlike other pizza shops, the sauce is home made and the dough is also homemade. I will continue to go back for more and I would recommend forrest pizza to anyone.

Cute court yard and shops in The Hub Plaza. So there’s picnic tables for outside eating. You can order to go and take it home or eat at the picnic tables after a day of shopping! Pizza by the slice is usually at 11 to 2pm.
