In 2004 we purchased a home in Silver Creek and needed a new water filtration system. Looking only in the local phone book — we found this business and called them. There was no Unilocal at that time — least not in our area! They sent us Rosario — a man who seemed to know a lot about water systems. Being local and in business for years, we quickly trusted him and went with a state of the art system — a Hallett. Days after the warranty expired we had an issue — even though every year we paid them to return and do a complete inspection and service of the system as well as about $ 300.00 per year to change the bulbs. I’m still not sure what happened, but over a grand later — our system was back up and running. The service from this company was about the worst I had experienced. Numerous calls were made in and effort to get the situation resolved, even a call to Canada where I discovered the unit was manufactured. If you are in the market for a water system — there are two things I want to point out. First — the Hallett is a state of the art system, but the upkeep is approximately $ 300.00 per year and there have been many issues reported pertaining to this system and very little changes have been made to improve it. Second — if you are local to the Silver Creek area — I will caution you about the service from this company when there are problems. Otherwise — the service is great! And by all means — Rosario is one of the nicest of people — it’s actually hard to stay mad at him for the poor service. I give Diefenbach’s one star — and the Hallett company a half star! However, unless I switch out the system — I’m stuck with this company on both counts — unless someone else knows of a company who services Hallett products! If service changes I’ll consider revising my review!
