I don’t usually write reviews but I’ve now had two outstanding experiences with this company and Eli. I had to have my garage door opener replaced and Eli came out on the evening of New Year’s Eve to diagnose and address the problem. He was on time, courteous and obviously very knowledgeable. The second visit was earlier this week. I had hit something in my garage and my garage door wouldn’t close. I had to reschedule my appointment several times due to work but they were very accommodating. Eli came out again, figured out the problem again and had it fixed in five minutes.

Service was extremely quick. Eli, the technician, «McGyvered» a solution that eliminated the need for replacement parts and gave me thorough training in solving alignment problems in the future. I could not have asked for a better customer service experience — fast, effective, and most reasonably priced. I highly recommend this family owned business and will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Ron did an outstanding job of replacing the logic board on my Chamberlain opener. His attention to detail was astonishing. He recognized that the old opener would not pick up the signal from the new part and had insurance authorize a replacement. Before leaving, Ron lubed both doors and assured that each operated perfectly. What a pleasure to deal with a company that retains their excellent employees! Use 495 Garage Door with confidence.

495 responded quickly to our call to repair our damaged garage door. They sent RON who came on time and was wonderful! He not only fixed it quickly but explained what he did and why. He was very knowledgeable and made sure I understood what he was doing! He was great and I would highly recommend 495 Garage Door!

Eli came out at the scheduled time and fixed my garage door within minutes. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me some helpful tips on how I might improve my garage and prevent chronic leaks, which he wasn’t even there to fix. Would absolutely use 495 again!

Wow! Called at 8am and scheduled service for two days in future. They called back in 15 minutes to say they had a cancellation and could come between 9 – 11 today. Eli arrived at 10, looked at the equipment, reviewed the problem and gave me three possible solutions at three increasing price points with the pros and cons of each. No pressure, just information. I decided how to proceed and he installed the new equipment, adjusted door, repaired track, tightened springs, tested everything, gave me instructions, cleaned up and was gone by 1PM. Very helpful, very professional, very informative. I would happily recommend them and will use them in the future. Good job.

Professional, courteous and quick! They reset our motion sensors, knocked out a dent in the garage door and reprogramed our openers in under 10 minutes. They even took to time to show us how to fix our issue next time we experience it. Thanks Don!

Like others we were referred to 495 Garage Door by our home warranty company. From the first phone call I made, I was impressed. Everyone has been polite and efficient. We have had a problem for over a year with our garage door, and last year no one could figure out what the problem was. Ron came out today and was able to troubleshoot the problem and had everything fixed within two hours and that is with a brand-​new unit being installed. Ron was amazing to work with great work ethic very knowledgeable and polite. I would highly recommend 495 garage door to anyone who is in need of a garage door repair. Very impressed!

Made an appointment to have my cable/​spring repaired on my garage door on Sunday from 10 – 12 noon. No one called or showed up. Ended up calling ABC Garage Door Repair. 495 may do good work, but I was a little disappointed with the service.

Ron fixed the springs on my garage door. He was very courteous and definitely did a great job on the doors. Loved the service and would definitely recommend them.

I admit I wasn’t expecting much, but I was wrong. We had a broken garage door opener that was covered under our home warranty. The warranty people initially assigned it to Sears home. Sears sent a tech who looked at the opener, declared the motor seized and promised to order a new one. I never heard from them again.
When I called my warranty company back, they assigned it to 495 Garage Door. Less than a day later that were calling me to set up the job. Today, Ron came out, opened the unit, took measurements and found a burned out control board. He replaced the board and had me back in business in 20 minutes.
Throughout the service, Ron was polite, knowledgable and explained how we could economically upgrade our very old doors. I frankly couldn’t be any more impressed with the service I received from this company.

These people quoted one price on the phone and then a higher price when they arrived. They also insisted on doing more work than was necessary. We had to send them away.

Just had a wonderful experience with Eli and Jeremiah. They were courteous, professional and really took the time to teach me about our garage door issues, how to avoid future issues, etc etc. They were booked through our home owner warranty program so I can’t speak to pricing but they would be worth the expense!

This was our first experience with 495 garage door company and this company was simply put EXCELLENT in their diagnosis and how quickly they fixed the problem.
Sara, Eli and David all played their part very effectively and fixed our garage door opener. I was very impressed with the knowledge base that Eli and David had. First time Eli came and was able to tell us exactly what is wrong with our garage opener within the first 5 minutes. Second time, David came to fix the problem and he was very friendly, courteous and installed the part in no time. David went extra mile and made sure all of our questions, concerns were answered and was very patient in answering all of our questions. Both David and Eli gave us excellent tips and analysis on how to maintain your garage door.
