A-1 Moving Company

Called to get a quote and I spoke with a gentleman named Quentin. He answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. He really eliminated all of my anxiety related to this big move. His team of 4 guys came on time with a huge truck. They wrapped all furniture and moved very expeditiously. They did an amazing job! I highly recommend to all. They also have the fairest prices out there. Thanks A-​1!!!

I’m inclined to write a review for this company because if 10 stars were not an option, so I must share my story.
When I contacted A-​1, I was a bit skeptical as I already had to send away my initial movers for not showing up on time. Moving a 3-​bedroom town house from VA to MD, you can almost assume the stress level is extremely high! To have your movers just totally disregard your start time really throws everything off, and when the service is horrible thereafter, I was already over the edge.
I contacted A-​1 in a frantic and they were able to come out the next day after my consultation, as promised. The guys were efficient and one time. I was able to just give The owner my schedule, his movers did everything how I wanted. I didn’t expect such a smooth transition as I hired and moved within 24 hours with A-​1, but a smooth transition, I what I received. When a company can step up like that with such little notice, I must really applaud them. They guys did not lounge around while I gave instruction at my new home… Which is something that really stood out. The owner, Quentin even came out and that was really a surprise. He really seems like a hands on guy that wants to ensure jobs go smoothly. I recommend them to anyone, especially with big jobs at little notice! A company that is punctual and actually gives you customer service is rare, and I’m happy I was referred to such a great one.

I would definitely recommend these guys. Though they were a little late (their morning job took a little longer), they did call ahead to let me know. Moving is not cheap, but these guys did a great job for the most reasonable price. I like the fact that there were no surprises with the billing.
