With just one session, I had relief from intense pain following a broken leg bone, ten weeks before, debilitating pain. Anyone with chronic pain should try acupuncture for its immediate and long lasting relief. Acupuncture technique works with the body, not against it, the healing can begin. You’ll know for yourself with the first treatment. A newcomer to acupuncture will do well here. Kevin takes a full history, the answering of the questions is itself a healing process. Pain is there for a reason, your body is telling you something. As surely as it has gotten you into a knot, the knot can be undone. Methodically, acupuncture creates focus which allows for relaxation. The placement of the needles sends healing energy throughout the body, it’s nothing short of incredible how well the body responds. Many times a person will cringe at the sound of the word needles. The needles are small, you’ll barely feel it.
The effect of the placement sends warm healing energy that un-​knots the disturbance. The healing can begin.
The location of Healing Support is excellent, a few walkable blocks from SS metro, it’s down the street from Tastee Diner on Cameron, public parking lot, but there’s usually something on the street. It’s an elevator building, totally easy access. The cost is equivalent to what a doctors appointment would be. With luck, acupuncture is covered by your medical insurance, but if it’s not, demand that they cover it. This is what we can do as consumers… bug the insurance companies to cover acupuncture which is far and away the better protocol for pain. As we increase our knowledge about acupuncture, we can demand change – acupuncture should be available to all. It’s not yet covered by Medicare — change that. If Medicare covers drugs, surely Medicare should cover a helpful, harmless, effective treatment.

OK, Kevin at Acumedicine is the best!!! I have had many health issues throughout the years and had never tried acupuncture but boy am I glad I did. I had chronic headaches and they are gone! I also get a terrible upper respiratory cough every year for nine years, bam-​gone! I so regret not knowing about this before because it has changed my life. Kevin is patient, kind, gentle, and very caring. I highly recommend him.
