Can’t say I’ve tasted the food since I’ve been waiting over 2 hours for my delivery and was just told I would have to wait another 25 – 30 minutes. I even called to confirm that is was being delivered at the 1.5 hour mark and they said it was on its way. At the 2 hour mark, I call to ask again. They tell me it was never made! Then she has the balls to call me to confirm my order! Yes I know what I ordered and yes I ordered it correctly. That’s the point of online ordering!!! Never getting from them again!

If I could give this a zero star I would! This is AWFUL sushi! This was so awful I felt as if I would get sick if I ate anymore of it. The smell was so disturbing. I will never order from here again! After eating just three pieces I feel so gross and wish I had not eaten this. I wish I could get a refund…

Food is decent, but delivery is always 30 min late. By the time the food arrives, it’s cold or soggy. It’s cheap, though.

I used to order from this place on a fairly regular basis due to the price and the taste. However in the past year, it’s declined and FAST. The sashimi(if you even want to call it that at this point) is semi frozen still, and any sushi specialty rolls are just weird tasting as if the fish is NOT fresh. When you run a business and start off great, people WILL notice if you start cutting corners because we are not stupid and there are TONS of other options out there.

The food is delicious but the employees and delivery drivers are soo rude. They always rush me and they are rude if I don’t tip then as much as they think I should and I tip generously. I don’t understand why places hire people that aren’t friendly they act like they hate there job and if that’s so then don’t work in this industry.

This is a great spot on its own terms: inexpensive, quickly-prepared, American Chinese food. This isn’t «authentic Szechuan» or trendy Asian fusion: it’s decent noodles, passable sushi, thoroughly adequate burger and fries. It’s for that moment at 10pm when the infant is asleep and you think, «my God, I want lo mein and I want it NOW!» then Andy’s is the place for you.

Very delicious! Great service! I will definitely order from here again. The only thing I did not like is that they did not put any plasticware with my order and so I had no utensils to eat with as I was ordering from a hotel. I also requested plasticware in the comments section. The food was so good though, it won’t stop me from ordering there again.

A great place if you like unnaturally colored meat, a beef and broccoli that tastes like fish, and sushi that arrives HOT, and soggy. Yum. Just what I was craving. Do not, I repeat do NOT order the dragon roll. It is 75% cream cheese 15% rice and the remaining 10%? Mushy crab and what was at one point something that was supposed to be crunchy. All that goodness for a total of $ 12. I ordered spring rolls. Chicken spring rolls. Least to say, one bite later and a mouth full of a red meat that looked like dog food I’m done. They delivered over 30 minutes past the«latest time» as well. Such a waste of money. Never again! you’re better off getting dressed and going somewhere decent instead of ordering in to this place.

This is based off their sushi(delivered): I’m glad I ordered from here before hopping on Unilocal. We had a craving for sushi but felt real lazy and wanted it delivered. We couldn’t find anywhere in Silver Spring that delivered sushi other than Andy’s(if you know of somewhere that delivers sushi to the downtown Silver Spring area, please shoot me a message). Anyway, the sushi was adequate — satisfied our craving. I had the crunchy spicy tuna and crunchy spicy salmon. She had the veggie roll combo. We both enjoyed our rolls. We found the soy sauce to taste kind of funny, perhaps watered down. We ended up using our own. Portions were served with enough wasabi. Her veggie roll combo came with miso soup. When you order $ 20 or more food, you get a free order of egg rolls. Delivery time was under an hour.

Where’s the 0 star option? Seriously. This place is f*ck awful. Seriously terrible. Mayonnaise should never be the overpowering flavor in a California roll. If you think that pad Thai just means dry pork slipped into some rice noodles with a vague hint of some kind of spice and a separately cooked egg literally just tossed on top — with no peanut sauce either… You literally have no idea what Thai food is. And if that’s the case, I encourage you to eat here. If you like food. At all, of any kind. Don’t eat here ever. Tried them a few times now, like an alzhiemers patient. Never good, sometimes edible. Just awful. Never again.

Recently moved back to the area and quickly ordered Andy’s for delivery. Our dishes were super sweet when they should have been sweet/spicy. The chicken fried rice was good but everything else seemed to have been modified from our past experience.

Andy’s was disappointing. After waking up mid afternoon from a hangover I wanted to order Chinese food. I put in an order for General Tso’s chicken and 3-piece chicken wings with fries. My order came quickly but as soon as I opened my bag I saw they only gave me 2 chicken wings, fried rice instead of french fries as my side and my General Tso chicken was a plain, sweet chicken that lacked the actual sauce. Gentleman on the phone tried to argue with me that my order was exactly how General Tso is supposed to be made while I’m staring at a plain chicken breast in front of me. Nevertheless, 20 mins later the driver returns with 1 wing, sweaty french fries and red pepper flakes in oil(not the General Tso sauce). The food seems like imitation Chinese food you would see made in a high school cafeteria. I regret ordering from here and I would not recommend it. You could probably make your own Chinese food better at home. If you want good customer service and authentic Chinese food, I wouldn’t order from here.

the sushi was not fit for even cat food. absolutely disgusting. I spit out any i put in my mouth. the chinese food I ordered with it was decent though. but that might be because anything would be better than that sushi.

I’ve only ever ordered delivery from here, and never actually visited the place. But as far as delivery goes, I’m in love. This is my go-to place for slutty chinese delivery.(Which by the way is a completely different category from your authentic chinese sit-down restaurants FYI) plus no delivery charge, what more can I ask for.

I ordered online for delivery as it’s cold out today, and I didn’t feel like going outside. The positive points: sushi was pretty good, and arrived about ½ hour after ordering. The negative: I work in a Federal building and going out of the work area requires a special card. In my rush to get my food, I forgot it, but the Spring Garden drivers(where I usually order my Chinese and/or sushi) know to come up to the first floor(which is about 3 floors up from the ground floor) and hand off the food near the security desk. If the delivery driver spoke English, it was minimal enough to be non-existent. I couldn’t make my request that he come up understandable. So I had to turn around and grab my card.(I work on the 13th floor.) Meanwhile, he’s calling me back and screaming at me. I go down to the lobby, he’s not there. He’s on the street, arguing with a policeman who was writing a $ 100 ticket for stopping in a travel lane.(Our building has a parking garage next to it but I guess it didn’t want to walk extra.) He hands me my food, and starting complaining about something, waving the ticket around. Hey, not my problem, not like *I* illegally parked! The idea was to get food delivered and stay in my building. It didn’t work. We’ll see if this adventure continues by food poisoning or not.

The food here is uninspired. We ordered the sesame chicken and beef chow fun. I realize that this is catered to an American palate and that sesame chicken is not an «authentic» dish but it was very disappointing. I usually expect large chunks of deeply flavored fried chicken but the chicken pieces were tiny and coated in a sugar syrup with no hint of any flavoring at all. The beef chow fun was mediocre at best; comprised of some floppy soft noodles and a few slivers of beef with very little vegetable. I think with a little more effort, it would make this a decent place to eat.

Coming to Andy’s was reminiscent to being at daycare rather than a restaurant establishment. A child’s bicycle was haphazardly lying on the ground, two children(belonging to the employee) were on a tablet screaming and running around, trash littered the floor, and crayons and coloring books were stacked onto the trash receptacle. It even smelled like a daycare. I needed my sushi fix and after living here for 3 years and driving by Andy’s several times, I wanted to give Andy’s a try. I ordered the California roll and salmon-avocado roll and was less than impressed. Although eatible, both rolls were on par to what you can get to the grocery store, perhaps a little worst sushi I have had in the Silver Spring-Bethesda-DC area. I most likely will not be returning. You get what you pay for.

Still trying to decide how I feel about this place. We ordered delivery from here… and probably would do so again. It had easy online ordering, was fast on delivery, relatively affordable for the quantity of food, some of the food was good, and it didn’t make us sick ;) What we got: *** Whole fried chicken wings(just listed as «wings» on the menu) — the fried wings were excellent * French fries and fried rice on the side were pretty meh(fries were just frozen crinkle-cut fries and were lukewarm); fried rice was greasy and somewhat lacking in flavor ** Buffalo wings — these were what you think of as «wings» …the short wings, smothered in sauce; I should have requested these be extra crispy, b/c they were pretty soggy; but the sauce was good. *** The singapore noodles were pretty good ** The lo mein noodles with roasted pork were just ok; too saucy/greasy; not enough flavor * The boneless bbq ribs didn’t taste like rib meat; were very tough; not horribly flavorful either; would not order these again *** The vegetable dumplings must have been good… b/c my son gobbled them all right up without sharing :)
