Having seen Dr. Anita Pillai-Allen, I would like to warn all intelligent women against seeing her. She comes to an immediate diagnosis(which turned out to be wrong), and will not entertain any questions that might challenge her. Instead, upon hearing the question, she re-iterated her CV, and at the second question, she announced, «You’re not listening, I already told you what you had!» I asked for a differential diagnosis, and she refused to give me one. Further, when she prescribed a medication, I asked very clearly if it could cause a yeast infection. She assured me that the anti-biotic she prescribed could not cause a yeast infection because it was«long acting.» That also turned out not to be true, and I ended up with a fairly severe yeast infection as I trusted her and did not use my usual preventative measures. I recommend finding another doctor, unless you like be talked to like a 1st grader.
