Buffalo Wings and Beer

I get carry-​out from here so my comments are only about the food.
These are my favorite wings and they are always willing to make mine «well done» since I’m one of those people who like theirs extra crispy.
Ordering is easy — they always get it right and it’s always done when they say it will be.

This place is a quaint local bar. Food is reasonably price and not to shabby, beer isn’t overly price which is great, they finally have their liquor license which is nice. But the best part about this place is the 6 pool tables available, rather than spending 20 bucks every half hour at a pool hall you can play a game here for 2 bucks while getting your drink on. All in all its a great place, would definitely recommend to friends.

Wings were mediocre, and service was pretty terrible. Definitely won’t be going back again.

Buyer beware, they’ve skimped on their wings twice in a row. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice… u know the rest… will never ever go back. By the way I weighed the wings… paid for 4 pounds only got 2 pounds.

Nothing really stellar here. Burger was dry, wings OK at best. Service was good. The soft drinks tasted funny (like the lines haven’t been cleaned in a long time). Won’t be back.

I went to Buffalo Wings and Beer daily for a few weeks. Good food at reasonable prices. Go on a weekend. The server durring the week is much more concerned with her next cigarette than her customers. Service weekends and nights is good.

No Billy C. U r not wrong. They make you buy their own bottled tap water. Thats right folks. Order all the food and alcoholic beverages u can stomach and they will not serve you water without making you pay for it. Realized this 10 years ago at their other shit hole dirty ass place by the MC Airport. Ordered 50 wings and pitcher of beer with a couple of buddies after softball. Asked for water and was told we would have to buy their bottled tap water. We asked to speak with owner. He is a total asshole. We got up and left. I have told everyone i could over past decade to go elsewhere. Who the hell charges for water when you purchase $ 100 worth of food and drink. Idiotic.

Utterly disappointing! The worst bar I’ve ever been to. Looks like a shabby college bar in the middle of nowhere– only worse. The bar area was pretty messy and dirty with just a few selection of beer and liquor. Wouldn’t even eat there as the place looked awfully filthy! Poor customer service: the waitresses were far from friendly with a hefty slice of attitude. Pool tables were old and crusty. Very inconvenient as one would have to call a waiter or waitress for keys to get the ball out if someone hits a scratch. This place needs a heavy dose of renovations to keep up with business. Would highly recommend for Bar Rescue. Would never come back. Just being real about it.

This is the grimiest bar I’ve ever been to (and that’s no exageration). The first thing I noticed when walking in was how disorganized the placement of the tables, chairs, stools, TVs, etc. and more importantly, how dirty the bar counter was. The bartenders are rude and unprofessional. I seriously wonder how they retain customers with their nasty attitude. It’s as if they are intentionally chasing out their customers. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in at least 3 months; absolutely filthy. I hesitated to order food based on what I saw. I cant imagine how filthy and unsanitary the kitchen must be. And finally, the pool table kept stealing our white ball each time someone scratched, which was very inconvenient since we had to ask the bartender to get it out for us each time. They need to get their tables fixed. Don’t go here!!!

There is a reason why they have the wings first in their name. The wings are flavorful and delicious. The burgers are OK but nothing to brag about. They have a decent selection of alcohol pretty average. No special drinks:(. Not a fan of getting charged for water I think that’s pretty petty. It can get pricey to play pool for a long period of time. I think they should set a standard hourly rate for the tables. Now on to the most hated part of the whole place the music. Why in the world do you charge people to listen to music? They have a radio and a juke box but if noone has played a song then there is no music and is a dollar a song WTF is that come on now yall need to step your game up!

Decided to go here one day after church, long service and chicken wings were on the taste buds. It’s a typical sports bar nothing fancy but clean and servers were polite. We tried the BBQ wings, on point. Old bay, wings to salty for our taste. Lemon pepper, again to salty and overly buttered… they would have been perfect if they didn’t use salt and let the lemon juice do its job alone. Also, tried the Hamburger wrap, very tasty made to perfection. Lastly, chicken wrap was dry and needed more of something… sauce maybe. Overall, I’ll go back but order things a little different since this place is big on flavor.

The wing sauce was alright, but the chicken wasn’t the best. Horrible service as well. The waitress acted as though she hated her job. Most likely won’t go back.

I have been coming here for a long time. The food is great or at least I like it I usually stick to seasoned fries and buffalo wings cock of the walk is my go to. The sweet and tangy are also very good. I have noticed that the service has become horrible. It is unfortunate that I have to follow up my description of my favorite wings and they are sooo tasty with a ‘but the service is bad’ it has gotten to the point that some (not all) of the wait staff are down right rude. I hope this is something they can address because I can’t help but think it is a quick way to loose customers!

THE WAITRESS VERBALLY HARRASED US OUTSIDE THE STORE.
I went to Buffalo Wings and Beer today on New Hampshire for lunch ! Me and my friend decided to try something new that out boss recommended. We went into the store and were not greeted or welcomed, we were a lil confused on what to do. I approved the bar and the red haired lady said are u dining in our out. I said in and she told us to sit down. She wasn’t very friendly. I needed help picking a sauce but her response was «idk.what do you like ?» I asked her well which one is good and no luck all she said is whatever your taste is.
After that i saw her behind the bar mostly talking to the men at the bar. She didn’t really check up on our drinks and if we asked her for something it was with an attitude therefore we left no tip. She followed us outside and began yelling «DO YOU GUYS GO OUT TO LUNCH? DON’T YOU KNOW YOUR SUPPOSED TO TIP» we told her we would have if we received better service. Honestly i was in complete shock with the customer service. She continued «I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO SAY THAT. IMA REMEMBER YOU GUYS THE NEXT TIME YOU COME HERE». And rudley added «NEXT TIME GO TO MCDONALD» and turned around and yelled «FATASS!». Regardless of the pretty good food, My experience was terrible. The audacity the waitress/​bartender had to yell at us made me glad I did not tip her in the first place.

This was our first visit and I had the lemon pepper wings which were good. Their wings are unbreaded which I prefer. They only have a handful of beers in tap which for a wings place to me is a disappointment. Service was fine and they only have a small seating area. They could use more and larger big screens for sports. My wife had the Ira’s special which was typical bar food and my sister had the crab cake sandwich was ok at best. We will probably come back for the wings but not much else.

There’s good and bad here in my experience, but food beats ambiance.
The good:
–The wings are some of the best I’ve ever had. They’re large, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The Old Bay wings and garlic are both the best I’ve ever had of that variety.
–Sandwiches are also really well done. My family has ordered subs there a few times and been really pleased with everything we’ve tried.
–The service is friendly and efficient. My order has been correct every time and ready quickly.
The not as good:
–The place is a bar, not a family restaurant. If you want a bar, this is not a bad thing. It’s not a place I’d want to take my kids just because I think we’d look and feel REALLY out of place there.

Ordered a simple meatball sub and when I took a bite the meat was «soggy» like wet bread and smelled like it had gone bad… Will not be back. The waitress was very kind though.

The wings are pretty good (I tried a sub once and didn’t like it as much), but the lack of free water is annoying. I didn’t know the water bottle came with a coupon, though.

We got 3 pounds of wings, 1 pound each of three different sauces: honey mustard, rooster, and barbecue chipotle. Of the three we liked the rooster the best — just a plain and simple hot sauce which wasn’t too hot. The honey mustard was a little bland and the chipotle barbecue could’ve been a little less on the barbecue and more on the chipotle for my taste. The wings were good size, not the typical small ones that you see that some places. Still I felt that seven dollars for a pound of these wings was a bit much. I really didn’t feel like I ate $ 21 worth of wings.
The biggest drawback was the noise from the regular patrons. There were three or four guys at the bar and one in particular was very loud and obnoxious and was constantly making comments about things on TV and commenting on the sex lives of the waitresses’ parents. It was the kind of talk I’d expect from teenagers, not guys in their 40s. If I had been there with my mom I would really have been embarrassed. The waitresses didn’t seem to care that there were other patrons in the restaurant that might be offended by this kind of talk.
The grand total for 3 pounds of wings, a half a pound of shrimp and a pitcher of beer was $ 47 before tip. That seems pretty steep and when you factor in the unwanted commentary, it wasn’t what I had in mind when I set out to get wings that night.

This is probably my go to place for wangs in the DMV.
I usually order a pound of the super cock wangs ($ 7) and share a basket of fries. The wangs are crispy and have just the amount of spiciness to it (the kind where it’s just right, but sometimes you get that extra kick that makes you sweat… love it!). The size of the wings are good… not puny or not so big that you wonder if you’re really not eating a drumstick. The fries here are always good. Crispy and never burnt.
I’ve also tried their burger here. Delicious! Has that good old charbroiled taste to it… yum yum yum. A basket of fries with cheese and bacon is always good too.
For the daring, order their coffin wings. Let me warn you… these are beyond hot! They basically had a drop of their coffin sauce to their insane sauce. Tried this once and man… I barely finished one wang! This will definitely make your butt burn for a few days. They have tons of wing sauces and combinations for you (mild-​crazy hot).
They do charge $ 1 for bottled water. Sucks, yes. But, the up side is that t there’s a coupon on the bottle… buy two pounds of wangs and get the third free. What a deal! They also charge for extra hot sauce.
They only serve beer here and pitchers are pretty cheap.
I’d definitely recommend this place for some good old wangs. Come on Tuesday nights… it’s buy one pound of wangs and get the second pound for ½ price (the two pounds have to have the same sauce).
