If it wasn’t for the sandwich I had today, Santucci’s would have gotten five stars. Everything I have had in the past has been awesome but today I ordered a chicken parmesan sub, took it home and was super disappointed that the chicken parm sub was deli meat chicken, sliced, with sauce and cheese. No breaded chicken cutlet, or chicken fingers even at the least.

Good, solid storefront deli. Not changing the art of sandwiches as we know it – just doing really good sandwiches, and doing them consistently, for many years. One of very few places in the area doing it right. I’ve tried a couple of other things, but the classic is their cold cut sub with everything on it. Respectable quality meats in generous quantities, and a great balance of toppings, especially the oil and vinegar and the hot peppers. I was iffy about their bread — it’s soft and got soggy in the oil and vinegar — until I tried it toasted … that makes it terrific. Parking can be a hassle — the front lot is tiny. But there’s a lot behind the strip of stores, and a breezeway through from the back, and that helps. Very little seating in the deli — best bet is to get your sub to go.

Santucci’s makes decent subs, although the quality has noticeably decreased in recent years, as has their customer service. I called in December to place a large order(40+ subs) for my company. When I called and told the woman on the phone, she gave an annoyed and very audible sigh. To be fair, I did call at around noon, but made it clear I wasn’t expecting the order to be ready in 10 minutes and was prepared to wait. I eventually talked to a manager who wanted to sell me a generic, cold catering platter instead of taking my personalized order. I ended up calling Filippo’s in Wheaton. The subs were delicious and the owner personally came out, shook my hand, and thanked me for my business. You’d think that a local business with an average transaction of about $ 20 would be grateful for a big order. Disappointing. Despite going here for over 20 years, I will not return after this experience.

This place used to be great years ago. Been there twice now since I started working in the area. To be honest, I’d rather go to the Subway next door. Nice staff, fast service, but the deli meats are so poor quality that I’m not sure anything makes up for it. It’s too bad because it was the only thing decent in four corners for lunch.

I was in the area recently on a business trip and discovered this deli. It was so good, I had lunch here two days in a row. Fantastic meatball sub. So many times you get meatballs and they are all beef and hard. These obviously had pork in them and were very tender. The bread is crusty on the outside and tender on the inside. Italian beef sandwich was very good too. I knew it was going to be good because on the first day there were about 8 firemen getting sandwiches! Keep it up Santucci’s!

I just stuffed my face with their Italian cold cut and it’s the most satisfying feeling ever. Incredible. Best sandwich deli around.

This place is one of my all time silver spring favorites. One of those little diamonds in the rough. Wood moor shopping center is a little outdated… well alotta outdated but that’s what makes it so charming. Santuccis is in the heart of the shopping center and a cornerstone of the woodmoor community. All the food is made fresh and wait time is minimal. Any given day they is a decent size crowd. Seating is minimal. Maybe two tables that seat two and a small lunch counter that seats four. I’ve had just about everything here and it’s all to die for. If I had to recommend a few it would be 5. Tuna Salad 4. Homemade fettuccine 3. Italian Cold Cut 2. Steak and Cheese 1. Chicken Cesar Salad. They offer a wide variety of authentic imported Italian goods that you simply can’t find anywhere else. From sauces and oils to pastas and pickled goods. They are make their own pastas and refrigerate them for sale. You can buy ready made pastas prepackaged or by the pound. They also sale prepared dishes but they are usually only single servings. Love this place would recommend if you’re ever in the Four Corners area.

I’m not such a big fan of this place. One Saturday my husband and I came for lunch and we waited 40 minutes for our take out order. It turns out they just forgot to announce our sandwiches were ready and we would have been left waiting forever if we never checked up on our order. There was also no attempt to make it right. As for the food, maybe it’s because I’m not much of a sandwich person but I’ve had much better sandwiches from other Italian delis. I don’t know what the hype is about.

It is what it is and it does it well(subs and sandwiches that is). It’s usually fairly busy which is always a good sign of good food joints. Had the steak and cheese and it is one of, if not the best, but I’ve had in this area anyways. Good people working the counter too. Will be back soon.

Friendly staff. Bearded guy with dew rag recommended the steak and cheese. Laid back atmosphere. This place has been here 25 years. They have refills on their soda. Wonderful sandwich. Came out fast. Have it just the way they recommend it. Great! The fellow who brought it to me outside also brought a side of honey mustard and said to try it with that. Never would have thought to try that but it works! Best steak and cheese I can remember.

Being named Bonanno I have very tough reviews for any Italian Specialty Store in MOCO considering there aren’t to many around any more. Besides Marciones this is the only place I walk into and feel immediately at home. The smell is heaven and they carry all my true Italian specialty foods. All there subs are great including the Pastrami and Italian

When I want to break my diet without hating myself because the food wasn’t worth the guilt, I go to Santucci’s. It is always worth it! The classic Italian cold cut is my husband’s favorite. I like the meatball but to justify the hot generous portion of french fries I will get a sub that comes with lettuce and tomato. They are all good. If you are traveling with your sandwich, keep in mind the fresh bread will absorb sauces and won’t travel well, so ask for the oil and vinegar on the side. Outside seating is just two small tables facing the parking lot; hot in summer but okay in spring and fall.

I really like the food at Santucci’s it pains me to have to write this review… Stopped by last night, ordered our food, paid for it and waited patiently for our grub. Did not check the bag so we get home no chili which our daughter ordered… Called store 4mins before closing and was told we didn’t leave it. BUT we were charged… Smh… Big disappointment…

I love a good deli. This place was so amazing as to have a full on counter to do all the great sandwiches that they offer both hot and cold. I was so impressed with the hot sub that I had that I also ensured that I picked up a second cold sub to take with me for dinner later. It was a wonderful decision. Also the place has Italian groceries to shop through while snacking on your chips and waiting for a sandwich. It would be amazing if I lived near.

I grew up in Central New Jersey and living there you get use to good bagels, good pizza and good subs. I have tried a ton of places in the DMV and the only place that comes close to a good sub from home is Santucci’s. The fresh bread tastes delicious and each sandwich is made fresh to order. If you love the taste of subs, heros or hoagies from the NY/NJ area you HAVE to go to Santuccis. The line is often out the door and there is little seating inside, but it is worth it!

Discovered Santucci’s today. I decided to try the sausage with onions & peppers sub. Though the sauce on it was very tasty, they had cooked the sausage so much that it was dry. Maybe its because the cut the sausage into smaller pieces instead of leaving it as I normally see it sliced in half. I might give them another try but it would have to be with another sandwich.

Amazing. We just moved here from NC and have been craving a good sub! Needless to say, they surpassed our craving! Italian Cold Cut was OUTOFTHISWORLD! Turkey With Bacon — YUMMY!!! Super affordable and worth every penny! This is sure to be a tradition and frequent stop for us! Service: The guys were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the service was QUICK!

There is a Subway restaurant a few doors down from Santucci’s and I can’t figure out how they stay in business with this place so close-by. If you’re on your way to Subway, do yourself a favor and head to Santucci’s instead. For approximately the same price(maybe a couple dollars more), you can have a sandwich that’s ten times better. They also have a great selection of chips/snacks that are way more exciting than the baked Lays at Subway — think guacamole-flavored chips, Old Bay chips, jalapeño chips… need I say more? I couldn’t resist getting the Italian cold cut sandwich. They have 3 size offerings — I went with the smallest, which was not small at all. It was piled high with cold cuts, a slice of provolone, LTO, and yummy vinaigrette, all on a soft kaiser roll. It ranks up there with the best Italian subs I’ve ever eaten. And it was $ 5.50. Beat that.

I have had almost everything on the menu! The staff is very friendly, professional, and on point. It runs like a well oiled machine even on a Friday night. They even remember your order for next time if you go as often as I do. They only have fries during lunch but the food is so good and portions are great that you really don’t need any more. Best deli I have found since I moved here 15 years ago. Great service. Great food. They have made my husband no longer mind my late hours because I can bring him back dinner. I work in the shopping center and half my customers say they love coming to my store as an excuse to come here! Doesn’t get better than that.
