Dr. Gregory Romanow

The surgeons are great here. I think his name is Dr. Sweetney, but he took out all four of my wisdom teeth. I was able to get an appointment the same day and the doctor made me feel very relaxed. I had general anesthesia then woke up ready to continue my day, but of course I was advised to rest. The one reception staff, with an accent, could have been more personable, but otherwise this place was great. The doctor even called that night to check on me.

First just let me say, Woohoo! I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. So much so that I had put off getting my bottom wisdom teeth extracted so long that I started to have major issues. I was referred to the Greater Maryland Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Center and reluctantly I went. Dr. Romanow, INSTANTLY puts you at ease. He is very calming and soothing. He lets you know what is going to happen, what to expect during recovery, etc. He was also fine with me listening to my headphones while he worked!
Let me just tell you, seemless work. I was not jarred by any sudden pain or anything. I only had one removed, but it took, maybe 15 minutes, start to finish. His assistant (I wish I remembered her name) was amazing and very caring as well. Afterward I was given a prescription for Vicodin and a antibiotic, just in case. Turns out, I didn’t need the pain medication (hopefully I won’t need the antibiotic). Annnnnnd the pièce de ré·sis·tance — The 8 pm phone call from Dr. Romanow asking «How are things going?» Amazing!
I said all of this to say, if you need ANY oral surgery GO-​TO-​Dr. ROMANOW! I have to have another tooth extracted and I will be there! Great job Dr. Romanow!

I had two wisdom teeth extracted. Talked me through the procedure, potential risks, explained what was happening string the process, and made sure I was comfortable. Clear explanation of after care procedures. Got a phone call the evening of to see how I was holding up and to make sure things were okay.
Front desk staff are nice, but perhaps not the most organized. After the consultation I scheduled my extraction for the next available appointment. The reminder call for the extraction was asking me to bring the materials for the consultation. Oops.

Nice Dr didnt have any problem with my wisdom teeth removed. Altho the one lady who usually pick up the from. She is not nice. She seem to have an attitude. I asked what suite # because i forgot. I need to run in and make my payment. She said «why do you come?» They need to replace her.
