Anytime my son and I are within a few miles of this store, we always make a detour to pick up some qwant’a — the spicy Ethiopian version of what Americans might call beef jerky. It is very dry and often just crumbles in your mouth. It is also extremely delicious and, for me anyway, somewhat addictive. I can only put the bag down when it is empty. That is when I need to pour myself a large glass of mango juice, also purchased from this store. Sometimes we also buy freshly made samosas which are filled with lentils. We haven’t bought the injera but have certainly witnessed brisk injera sales since it is made fresh on the premises. The staff is always very friendly and helpful to us and the other customers. No doubt, we will have another qwant’a craving sometime soon.

You can buy freshly made injera here! It was 6 bucks for a bag of 10 giant pieces. Be aware that their injera is very sour, more so than we’ve previously encountered around here in restaurants(I have to assume it’s more authentic that way). So tasty, and I swear the bag weighed about 4 pounds. They appear to have carry out meals as well, so that’s next to try!
