Lived here for 3 years from 2011 – 2014. I had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom on the 13th floor with a great view. The layout was«roommate style». My roommate and I both had our own separate living quarters on opposite sides of the apartment which was great. Rooms and bathrooms are a nice size, it’s quiet(no kids running up and down the hallways, loud music, etc), there’s a nice exercise room, computer area, maintenance is friendly, no pests, you need a key card to get in, and garage parking is underneath. Garage parking is a little dimly lit, but I never had any issues or felt unsafe. The downstairs lobby area was remodeled a couple of years ago(2013, I believe) and it looks great. I enjoyed the shuttle bus right out in front. I believe it’s supposed to come every 7 minutes, but that’s a different story. The reason this review is getting 1 star is because of the staff. Beware! They are some of the most unprofessional people you will ever deal with. Tracy, one of the leasing professionals is not the brightest star in the sky. Kim, who is the property manager is NEVER available. The entire staff is extremely dense and unhelpful, they NEVER answer the phones, and it was such a hassle to take care of anything I needed, even after I’ve moved on to another state and apartment. I feel like I have to buy a plane ticket to Maryland and pop up in the office just to get a simple question answered. This place isn’t worth it for the poor service when there are so many other places in the area. Shop around!

We’ve lived here for eight years through good times and bad. Generally speaking though, it has been a very good experience. The staff is excellent, very responsive and accommodating, All of them go the extra mile. It has been my observation that the people who complain would complain no matter where they were living. I don’t think you can beat the Gramax for value and location. The VanGo ride-on free bus stop is on the corner. Rayco, an excellent car repair business is next door. Maybe that doesn’t sound desirable, but ask me how wonderful it was to just roll in when my car went kaplooey. The Gramax has an exercise room and indoor parking(!). It used to be an office building and was solidly built, so mostly, you can’t hear your neighbors. We plan to stay.
