Workers were very rude. Seems that like they were not interested in serving us. The person consistently said 40 minutes, 40 minutes.

So glad this place took over the previous korean-style chinese food inside Lotte Plaza. The portion size is very reasonable but more importantly the food tastes better! Highly recommend the kkan-poong-gi. If you order carryout, they will have everything ready in about 15 minutes. I hope Hasung stays for good!

Yeah, I think I’ve pimped enough useful photos *pat on hooded faux-fur back* Thanks to Su K. my jones for #jjajangmyun quelled :) Ideal time to go — weekday while it’s raining/storming/snowing lol. Humor aside, they’re located at Lotte’s itty bitty modest food court. The gan jjajangmyun totally mended my pang. Porky cuts with fresh chopped onions dancing in the timeless black bean sauce were a familiar medley and hearty for brunch. Plus oh how those stretchy bulky noodles bounced. Heck, I carelessly consumed — thank ye for the extra napkins without asking :) Wait time was about 10 minutes so bring your patience if dining during the weekends but take a chance on them if in the area. A courteous lady will greet and take the orders while the focused gentleman mans the kitchen to complete the transaction. Closed on Tuesdays as pictured and the hours are 10:30 a.m. — 8:30 p.m. If it’s not bustlin’ then you may be able to grab one of the 40-ish log stools(more like non-ergo stumps). The cafeteria-style wooden benches/stools are shared among the food vendors. Yes! They take checkcards so this was definitely simple #convenient eats. From Lotte’s front entrance, this takes you directly into the food court area. From the back lot, I believe you walk passed the registers straight to the food court. Either way, you’re there.

For those that have been wondering where the awesome jjajangmyeon that was available at Hasung in Hanoori Town in Catonsville( ) went, look no further than the eatery inside Lotte Plaza on Georgia Ave. Food — Overall, Da Rae Won( ) still owns the Korean-ized Chinese cuisine game in MD due to their superior sweet and sour fried chicken and delicious hand-pulled/beaten noodles(or noddles as their menu says), but Hasung’s jjajangmyeon sauce will make you think you just ordered delivery from your favorite shop in Korea. If you even remotely like jjajangmyeon, you owe it to yourself to try the gan jjajangmyeon($ 8.99) — stir fried onions and pork in black bean sauce. Yes, the regular jjajangmyeon is $ 3 cheaper, but I assure you that $ 3 is well worth it. The noodles are the only thing that is severely lacking. And don’t sleep on the fried rice($ 8.99) either — it comes with a side of the regular jjajangmyeon sauce. Service — it’s essentially one guy cooking things up and for those familiar with Korean restaurant culture, the somoon(rumor) has gotten out about this place, and aside from the Korean newspaper, nothing is more powerful than a somoon. So yeah, it could take a whiiiiile to get your order. Location — located inside the Lotte Plaza on Georgia Ave. The eatery is pretty small, so it might be difficult to nab a spot during prime dining hours. The old lady who used to run the Hasung in Catonsville now runs the Japanese cuisine place next door to this Hasung as well. So for an authentic Koreanized taste of a Chinese dish, Hasung is a solid choice.
