George was our server last night, he was amazing! Very nice and attentive. The lady who brought our food to our table seemed to be in a bad mood already and had a horrible attitude! Couple minutes later our friend had his head down because he was tired, she comes to our table yelling and causing a scene telling us that our friend could not have his head down. She gave us no chance whatsoever to even inform our friend, she immediately called security on us telling him to get us out. We were not going against what she was telling us at all we said nothing because we had no chance to. The way she approached us was very rude! I believe she was racial profiling us because around that time drunk Hispanics come in from the Spanish bar down the street and I guess they cause problems but we had no intention of causing trouble, we were just tired and hungry. We felt violated because she would come to our table every 30 seconds to keep checking on what we were doing. It was very embarrassing because she was the only one causing a scene! She is a very rude«manager» she should not be working if she already has a bad attitude towards the world. We frequently go to this IHOP but never again. I would like to hear that something will done about this situation.

I used to love this place, but lately can’t seem to find an IHOP that’s worthy of becoming a regular at. At this particular location, the food is hit or miss. Last time my country omelet was missing the hash brown inside… and was especially heavy on the onions. A country omelet is *nothing* without the hash brown(and sour cream, also missing). But really… how do you forget the hash brown? It’s the main attraction. And why were my eggs so brown? Wrong brown! Ugh, never ordering takeout from here again. Eventually I’ll get over the hash brown incident… at least I hope. But I can still taste the overcooked eggs as I write this. And a tip for dining in: Don’t sit it the back corner nestled between the kitchen and the bathroom. Just don’t. Refuse. At least they’re open 24-hours.

Worst IHOP experience ever. Not only was the server rude, I ended up with food positioning and after having dealt with this I will never return to an IHOP again. Especially this one.

SLOWESTSERVICEEVER!!! From the time we sat down, until the time our food arrived, it was at least 45 minutes, and then it came out in drips and drabs. Example: 3 meals were served out of 4. When the 4th arrived, five minutes later, it had 3 of 4 pancakes. The server told us she owed him a pancake. Then a side of bacon arrived. Then, a fruit cup. Then, the 4th pancake. And after everyone was done eating, the side of toast that never came with the eggs/bacon/hash browns.

I love this place! And their service! I went in Wednesday and was assisted by Andrea. She told me her name right away and asked if k wanted something to drink. Since I already knew what I wanted to eat I placed my order as well. It was Wednesday at 4pm so it wasn’t busy. I got my food in within 10ish minutes. She got me warm syrup, it was AWESOME! I love it. I order the original French toast, white butter toast and French fries. Asked if I needed anything else and I asked for extra butter. She would come around frequent to check on me. Andrea was great!

Today I made use of the fact that this restaurant actually has non-breakfast offerings available in the morning when it’s almost impossible to get anything but standard breakfast food. I came here about 10:30 and had an early lunch of chicken Cordon Bleu. I was a little uncertain that this dish might be outside the area that IHOP does well — it’s certainly not the kind of dish that IHOP is famous for, because, outside of pancakes and waffles, they’re best known for traditional American food. And the dish came out rather different from what I might have expected for chicken Cordon Bleu: the cheese sauce and ham were layered on top, rather than stuffed inside, and there was a top layer of spinach. But the test of a dish is how it tastes. Although it was certainly an unconventional Cordon Bleu, it was certainly good enough to order again! It came with an order of home fries that I could only criticize for having onions(which I would have preferred not to have) in it – but the onions were sparse enough that it was acceptable. And I got a big enough portion that there was no need to have a dessert afterward, so it was just that and a hot tea for my lunch.

Typical IHOP. It is what it is. But what made this experience different was the waitress. Her name is Silvia and she was very attentive. The food was good and came out hot. Our beverages never got empty and, our waitress was happy to get anything we needed. When I come back here I most definitely will be asking for Silvia again.

Slow service. Rude waitress had me waiting for my refill I was gonna walk out then she apologized. The only thin good about this place is the food and that its 24 hrs. It was so packed with 2 waitresses ridiculous

IHOP in Wheaton, horrible service ! They have only a dozen tables, at least a wait staff of 4. They still can’t accomplish waiting on you. We walked out after over ten minutes with no drink order taken. Waiter just said it wasn’t his table. We’ll, it’s no his tip either ! Zero stars!

Just came here for brunch on a Saturday morning with 3 kids and it was insanely busy and slowwwww. We must have waited 40 min for food and then another 30 for our check. Not good when you’re dining with kids who have a short attention span!

Standard IHOP. Huge plus that it’s open 24 hours so definitely a pro when you’re coming back from DC and need some grub ASAP that’s not McDonalds or 7⁄11. Their chicken and waffles is mediocre to me. It comes with 4 ¼ pieces of a large waffle and 4 pieces of fried chicken strips and honey mustard. Both the waffles and the chicken were a little overdone. It was a struggle biting into the chicken pieces. My friend got the country omelet which looked amazing. Hash browns inside and pretty much everything else on top. To top it off, they had sour cream and the omelet was HUGE. I would definitely recommend that over the chicken and waffles. But definitely a place to go if you’re still awake and hungry at 3 or 4am in the morning.

I’ve been going to this IHOP since I can remember. It’s one of the few places in the area with its own parking lot which is a plus. This was the go to place after hitting the nightlife in DC years back. Now I mostly go with my family and enjoy it thoroughly. The service is great and there is always a manager on hand making sure things are going smoothly. The place can get crowded on Sunday’s but that just tells you that there’s something there that people want. The place has recently been renovated and looks great.

Busy location but the employees do work very hard! They are never slacking around and they always do their best to satisfy the customers needs. This IHOP does get very crowded. Very quickly! It does not matter what time or what day it is. they will get slammed. Their bathrooms aren’t the prettiest but just to remind you. This IHOP has been here for several years. Overall, their coffee is my favorite(always fresh and ready) and their new pasta dish is delicious! I give them *****5 stars because of the staff and because of their food!

The daily double… BAD food and BAD service. The coffee tastes burnt, the toast is cold and unbuttered, the hash browns are undercooked, but on the plus side… it takes forever to get waited on! Venture here at your own risk. Most IHOP’s are mediocre, this one is atrocious!

Standard IHOP, nothing to exclaim in joy about but not terrible. Some cleanliness issues and it is a cramped location as well with terrible parking. If you need a IHOP fix this location is acceptable.

I come here since I live in the neighborhood. This place can be a hit or miss and this morning was a sure miss. It’s Monday, when my husband and me are off. There is no one seated in the restaurant, but the waitresses are slow about taking our orders and bringing out the food. My husband saw our food sitting on the kitchen’s window, ready to be brought to us. Our waitress was standing around talking to another waitress. Plus, when we were ready for our check, my husband had to get up and ask for our check. We were inpatient! The tip was not generous this time around. I may go to Tech Road IHOP for better customer service.

To be honest, this is the worst IHOP I’ve ever been to. The food isn’t bad, I’ll give credit for that. The customer service here was really bad. This one time, me and my family went here and there was a server who was acting like they were pissed off or something. She threw the utensils and dropped the coffee cup and messed up our table. So, we called the manager to discuss her problem. And she said what a bitch would say«Oh, I’m sorry for everything.». It was ridiculous. She didn’t serve us well either. What an imbecile. Oh, and one more thing, the restaurant isn’t clean. The bathrooms have dirty fixtures. I will not take my friends here if they visit me.

Ordered a side of bacon, it was two pieces. You’d think they would tell you how many you get! French toast was weak. Burger was average. Side note: the waiting area needs to be expanded. It’s overwhelming for the staff and the customers.

Honestly, it’s IHOP. What do people expect? It’s never going to have 5 star accommodations or be classy looking. It’s cheap breakfast and big portions. I think there’s just a little bit too much elitism when establishments like this are judged and reviewed. It’s a little urban and gritty. Get over it. I have found the service here to be generally good, which is amazing considering the chaos here usually.
