This is the BESTTUNA I’ve ever had. And here’s how you make the best tuna on earth: Jimmy johns TUNA Jimmy Johns BREAD –Hot Peppers –Extra cucumbers –light mustard –mayo –vinegar & light oil The bread is so FRESH and the food is super yummy ! The staff is awesome too. Honestly, these reviews done reflect the goodness of Jimmy johns– they have a strong company culture and I never fail to have a few laughs at their signs. One time– I got delivery and my sandwich was a bit soggy– the manager was more than willing to replace it and he truly cared about my experience I highly recommend these folks !

Sure, they deliver fast but their food sucks.

After waiting an hour for delivery, my sandwich was incorrect and the chips were not included. When I called the store to request a refund, I was told that could only be accomplished if I returned the sandwich to them. Per Manager in Training Dee, this is JJ policy. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard and even for fast food terrible service.

Super clutch after the pool! Pasha hooked it up! Also, Pasha and @Flexaholicz gave great customer service and helped me identify the perfect sandwich for my dad, after giving them my some of his food preferences. Too bad they don’t have reward cards, cuz I’d be there everyday!

The evolution of me and Jimmy Johns: 2013: Sees the store open up in my neighborhood. WTF is Jimmy Johns? Another sandwich place? The world does not need another sandwich place. Jan 2014: Ok ok I’ll give it a shot. First bite. This tastes… hmmm…right. [nom nom nom]. Ok. That was really good actually. Reminds my of a classic sandwich place from my college years. And it was how much? This will not be my last visit. March: There’s a Jimmy Johns near my work? GTFO. The rest of 2014: Eat. But as one quickly learns not all Jimmy Johns are created equal. The one near my work in Rockville is, well, ok, but just kinda meh-ish. I mean a $ 5 sammy is a $ 5 sammy, but I just never gotten the sense that the Rockville store gave a crap as much as here in Silver Spring. No one seemed happy to be there in RV. Case in point: I was at the Silver Spring location today and the guy, not sure if it’s district manager or what but the guy who oversees a few stores in the area was there and chatted with me, asked my how my experience was, talked about what he wants to bring to the table in terms of being a consistently good etc. The we had a fairly serious discussion about rare roast beef. Pretty sure the dude’s name was Lou but I could be wrong. Anyway I asked him about the Rockville store and I guess that’s not his baby. It should be. I’d go there more often if it was. I’ve been a manager of retail, defense contacting and a golf course. I can tell when a place has good management and when it doesn’t. Silver Spring = good. Oh and that freaky fast thing is freaky fast. Like, did you start making my sandwich as soon as I decided I wanted it? Quit the ESPJJ. It’s freaking me out.

These sandwiches are always on point. Besides the fact that they have your sandwiches prepared before you can complete your order, their delivery is just as quick. The only reason I don’t give this location a 5 star review is because of the fact that I’ve encountered employees talking about clients in a unprofessional manner at times. Although it’s not directly to the customer, it’s still a bit rude to talk about customers. Overall great food and prices!

I really wanted to try one of their sandwiches. Unfortunately, I am contractually obligated to keep them at least 2 miles from my mouth.

I will say this, we ordered the subs and dammit if they didn’t arrive like 5 min later! Amazing. The website is awesome for ordering also, I really liked it. The sub sadly isn’t all that. Decidedly average. Nothing makes it stand out, even though I would order again just to test the speedy delivery. If only the food matched with the rest of the process, they would have an awesome place.

For the first time, I got the $ 5 turkey sub and not it’s $ 6 cousin. The $ 5 one had 3 pieces of turkey on 8 inches of bread. I didn’t taste turkey at all but luckily they had good fresh bread that day. Definitely won’t be wasting money on the $ 5 bread mayo and lettuce sandwich but all of the $ 6 options have been great and definitely more meaty.

Price point: Incredibly cheap for subs. *10* Bread: Why? Why are you doing this to me? *4* Filling: Where did the rest of my sub go? *5* Toppings: Scarce with questionable freshness. *3* Service: Quick and efficient. *10* Everyone talks about Jimmy John’s. It’s so popular that upon entering, I thought the line would be longer. Nope. Very short line. Maybe I came on a bad day. Maybe the particular sub I ordered isn’t too good(the Italian). What kind of sandwich/sub shop has a questionable Italian sub? That’s like going to a Greek restaurant that serves horrible gyros. Not fair. Maybe it’s the location. I’ll give a different one a shot… but in the meantime I’ll go to Santucci’s in Woodmoor shopping center.

This place is clean and the service is good and the food is actually really good. I had the turkey bacon lettuce and tomato in the multigrain bread. Delish and very fresh. They deliver too.

My coworkers and I order here quite often. Super fast delivery! No, extremely fast delivery! The orders are always right and the food is always fresh. My only advise is that they update their website, they don’t provide the option to select to pay with cash if you order online. Also, they should have specials, like a sandwich of the week, something new and exciting to try. They should incorporate more unique toppings, add more cheeses and side items to choose from. I would love to have soup or chili with my sandwich. bulk up the menu please :)

Reminded me of a cafeteria sandwich. Bad tomatoes, not enough meat, terrible bread. Decent price, but anyone could make a better sandwich at home.

Sandwiches — they are cool. They don’t do bean sprouts anymore but the bread is fresh and stuffed with meat. Service– There’s a lot of people chatting and goofing off here but it’s a pickup joint at best. Heck you can order ahead, walking in, pay and walk out in all of 1 minute — that is if you are aggressive like me and call attention to that fact that you are there. Should I have to do that? No but I recognize the situation for what it is. What does bother me is the fact they have a 3 block radius for delivery. What the what!!! So I live a mile or so away but no delivery to me– NOTHAPPYATALL. The parking in the area sucks so you really can’t do a quick pick up, say if Im out driving around.

My updated review of this place is simple. It fell off big time because of the attitude of the employees. Several employees behind the counter at a time when the place is empty they should give great service when someone comes in. Instead, I got awful service, a mean mugging cashier and an attitude because I asked for a napkin. The way things go in Silver Spring this place will end up like many others, out of business.

This is the only chain I like to review because they make the best sandwiches and they give a deli shop feel. Well, all of them except this one. My boyfriend and I came in on a Saturday afternoon and regretted it! Some of the associates were sitting on the floor restocking the chips in front of the register so we couldn’t stand there to order. Everybody working there was LOUD, obnoxious and yelling across the place. Can I enjoy my sandwich in peace?! An associate walked in and started yelling at the manger(who was sitting behind us eating) to clock her in and the manger replied«I’ll do it later, I’m too lazy.» The sandwich was made sloppily, fell apart after 1 bite, didn’t even taste like Jimmy John’s! So not worth it and I couldn’t wait to get out. This place gave me a headache. To the other comments saying it was their first time at Jimmy John’s PLEASE go try the other locations! I promise it’s so much better! Lol!

I love Jimmy’s and this location delivers the same service that I could get at any other location. They’re fast, friendly, and clean. I may be a little bias because I live so close and eat here a lot, but for the price and the quality… it’s worth getting often. If you’re looking for something different and flavorful, try the Beach Club. I’ve had 4 different kinds of subs here and this one’s my fav. You get cucumber, tomato, lettuce, provolone, avocado spread, mayo, and turkey(talk about fattening lol). The avocado, cucumber, & tomato mix make for a great and refreshing spring/summer lunch.

I’ve tried several times by now. Nothing special to say about this place. The balance between the quality and the price is fair. The service is not even worse than average fast-food chains, but not disturbing. Try it if you are around and need a very quick lunch.

Yeah, I’m reviewing another chain. Deal with it. Until last week, I’d never eaten a Jimmy John’s sub. They recently opened in downtown Silver Spring and sent a couple of girls to my office building to hand out menus and mini subs.* They made sure to tell me that they deliver and the minimum is just one sub. Today is Monday and I’m at work wallowing in my post-weekend depression. Rather than unglue myself from my desk, I decided to try JJ and his delivery. I ordered online and was immediately annoyed that the online prices were higher than on the printed menu. Turns out the online prices include the sales tax but they don’t tell you that until checkout. 15 minutes later, my #9 Italian Night Club arrived. I’ve been craving a good Italian sub for a while and I knew this wouldn’t compare to The Italian Store but I figured it might at least curb the craving. Mission accomplished. It’s a huge sub packed w/salami, capicola, provolone, ham, lettuce, tomato, onion, and hot peppers on homemade French bread. I wouldn’t call the bread flavorful but it is apparent that it’s freshly baked. It’s a satisfying sandwich in both quality and size and price too, since it’s only $ 6.50. If you are one of those losers, I mean individuals, that always buys Subway $ 5 footlongs, spend the extra $ 1.50 and eat here. *I was always told not to take candy from strangers. No one said anything about sandwiches.
