Jimmy Obomsawin, Mac Support

I first found Jimmy through Angies List. My iMac had crashed. The computer is used by the entire family and I was already getting feedback from my young son about difficulties he had playing Minecraft with his friends, as the older iMac wouldn’t support the latest version of the operating system required by the game. I was afraid this was the end for my beautiful computer.
Jimmy came to our home, performed his magic and had the iMac up and running in no time. I mentioned my son’s experiences and expressed regret that I would eventually have to buy a replacement if I wanted my son to continue playing his games on the family computer. Jimmy told me there was a more cost effective solution — and when he was finished our older iMac supported the latest operating system and was also faster than ever. At a small fraction of the cost we now had all the functionality of a new computer. His house call saved us 100s of dollars!
But wait — there’s more. Months later the iMac was completely unresponsive. No lights flickering, no whirring, no power. I called Jimmy to request a service call and before he would schedule an appointment he asked me if I was willing to first try a few things with the computer. Although I had already performed all the troubleshooting steps found online, Jimmy amazingly got the computer up and running. All over the phone and in less than five minutes!
This is my first Unilocal review, but it’s so rare that you find support this great I just had to share my experiences. I highly recommend Jimmy!

Fantastic service! Jimmy was able to make a house call on short notice to my elderly father-​in-​law. Security had been compromised regarding his Mac. Jimmy checked everything out and had him up and running in short order — and at a reasonable cost. Jimmy kept us informed via text when he was on his way and when the problem was resolved. We live several states away. Such a relief to find an IT professional nearby for kind, in-​person tech support. Thank you Jimmy!

Kudos to Jimmy Obomsawin, Mac Support JEDI and stuff!!! This guy is a rockstar with Apple stuff and got our Synology 214+ NAS 100% setup and tuned to do all the stuff that I never would have done.
Plus he makes house calls!!!

I had a Mac laptop that was super slow. I asked Jimmy whether I had a virus or needed a new computer. He suggested upgrading the memory and getting a solid state drive. I dropped off my computer one day and picked it up the next morning. He’d transferred all the date from the old hard drive to the new solid state drive.
It was super easy and now my computer seems faster than it was when new. All for a tiny fraction of the cost that I was going to spend on a new computer.
