Kang’s runs an after school program for kids who attend area elementary and middle schools. They have their own bus that picks up the kids at school and brings them to the center. Students have quiet time for homework/​studying/​reading, and then receive martial arts instruction. Ms. Donna, the lady who runs the after school program, runs a tight ship! The martial arts instructors, like the previous poster said, are tough, yet fair. The older kids are respectful, and treat the younger kids well. It’s truly like a family environment… and you really notice it on belt test days. Bullying is not an issue – it is not tolerated.
My kid loves attending, and I’m very happy.

Kang’s has a great and affordable after school program where they will pick your child up at their school and take them to the center to first do homework and then do karate. There is extra tutoring available offered by a retired home school teacher. Their karate instructors are tough, yet patient and the kids love them. There are varying age groups and the older kids really look out for the younger kids. They have created a family environment there and I couldn’t be happier with them. My son has been there for three years and loves it — I highly recommend them.
