I’d never had a pedi before; first time. Nancy’s is next door to my hair salon so I thought I’d give it a try. I did not get the woman’s name who did my pedi, but she was pleasant, thorough and professional. She spent over an hour on my calloused feet and painted the nails beautifully. Best $ 25 I ever spent. Will definitely go back.

Really surprised by the reviews here. I had a wonderful experience. I did not get the names of the ladies who did my mani pedi and eyebrow wax. But they both did an incredible job, and even though I walked in at 6pm and they closed at 7, they happily stayed to get all done. I have to admit that I have rather rough skin on my feet, and now it’s gone! I’m currently traveling throughout the lower 48, and have been to a number of different salons in a few different states. Many charge extra for«callous removal». Not here. My total was $ 50 for a pedi and a gel mani, where she put on three coats of color! I’ve never gotten that treatment before! Usually they just glop on two coats of color, and hope it dries. The color was beautiful, and carefully applied. Eyebrow waxing was $ 8(usually I pay $ 10, but have seen it as high as $ 15 elsewhere.) she did a fine job. As for cleanliness, j found the salon to be very clean, and the ladies additionally cleaned their instruments while I was watching. For the time and the money, I truly felt like a regular customer, and not just some tourist who they couldn’t wait to get rid of — especially since they didn’t finish until almost 7:45. I would highly recommend this salon, and would DEFINITELY come back if I found myself in the area again!

My reviews are usually a little more rational than this one, but I am PISSED. You’ve been forewarned! They are inexpensive, and I thought they were a solid bargain find until today. I have gotten a couple of pedis there that have been good, but today’s was only adequate(while it looks fine, the leg massage part was not very good and she was not very gentle when working on my nails). Then, I got my eyebrows waxed. While the wax was done decently, she put Neosporin on my face. Now this may not be a big deal to most people, but I am allergic to it! They told me that I should have told them — well, I have gotten my eyebrows waxed many places, and this is the first place to use Neosporin. It would never occur to me to mention it. I break out in itchy hives wherever it is placed! Why on EARTH did they do that? I know I am not the only one with skin that reacts to this ointment!(And it is also a medication — why are they giving me medication without my consent? This would never be allowed at a physician’s office, why here?) She told me she used it because of my red skin — ummm, my skin was not red due to bacteria, my skin was red because I am a pasty white person and you just ripped hairs out of my skin near my eyeball. And now I’m concerned — why do you feel the need to use antibacterial ointment after waxing? What are your sanitation practices like? They were about to charge me for the wax — I am not usually someone who argues for getting fees knocked off a charge — but I objected. They did take off that charge and just charged me for the pedi. Now, I’ve scrubbed my face well(that was pleasant), and I’m just hoping I don’t have nice red hives around my eyebrows for the next week or so. I will never, ever go back here. If you don’t react to Neosporin, though, this might be a good find for you.

I recently had a pedicure here on 12⁄5. Let me start out by saying that the salon is not fancy and and does not provide a spa like environment. However, Tina gave me the best pedicure of my life! She takes her time and your feet will look fabulous when she’s done. You should schedule an appointment ahead of time being that she takes about an hour to do a pedicure but it’s soo worth it. I also received a shellac manicure which was average but def go for Tina’s pedicures!

This place was HORRIBLE!!! Please do not go here ever. It is dirty & I felt pressured into getting more than I wanted when I walked in. I had tips put on my nails & the technician was annoyed that I wanted to cut the tips down very low. Then she persuaded me to get a design on two nails. She says pick a design when I did she insisted I get a Xmas design @ this point I’m like really pissed. This place is walking distance from my house & I will give the place $$$!!!

So beyond disgusted with this place. I’ve only been 3 times once of which I didn’t get anything done due to the fact I had to leave to do something. When I did leave without getting anything done I gave the woman who runs the place a tip(for nothing) just to show her that I was a serious customer and would return when I could. The next time I went in they serviced a woman that walked in after me and I had to wait 30 minutes before I could have anything done, and my nail job was sloppy. Yet still I returned a 3rd time trying be nice by showing the businesses that don’t get much traffic near my home a little love. Boy was that a mistake. I brought my husband this time as he was in dyer need of a pedicure. I also had my son with me and since he’s not of walking age I figured it wouldn’t be a problem. Once again I was dismissed by these woman as they insist on servicing other people before me, and had to wait 30 minutes once again. My pedicure took and hour and a half and was something I really could have done myself. The paint job looked awful. I go to the nail salon for pedicures just for the massage portion(which sucked for lack of better words), everything else I can do myself. Since it took so long for me to get done with a pedicure(2hrs total) I had no time for a fill and had friends of mine waiting for me to go to lunch. While waiting for me my girlfriend asked if she should rinse my baby’s bottle out. As she was using the sink to do so the woman that runs the place(the same one I tipped for nothing) got up from servicing someone walked across the room and grabbed my friend!!! Telling her she was wasting her water! Excuse me but if I spend $ 100ANYWHERE I feel like I should be treated with a little common courtesy! Including anyone with me for that matter. Which I wouldn’t have had anyone«tagging along» had they not takin so freakin long for a simple pedicure! I was very upset as was my girlfriend. The woman that was getting serviced even made it a point to let her know that she was VERY wrong for that and she was being petty. THEYWILLNEVERSEEMYMONEYAGAIN!

TINA is the BEST technician this side of the Mississippi! YES! She does FABULOUS manicures and pedicures. She is THOROUGH with the job she does and takes her time and your feet come out looking fabulous! Their prices are VERY reasonable. It’s best to call for an appointment if you go on the weekends.
