New Age Electric

Surprised to not see more reviews on this company. I was really impressed with their service. The quote I received for the work I had done at my new house (heavy up, replacing electrical panel, installing a few outlets in my laundry room, replacing a bunch of two-​prong outlets) was the best I got from numerous electricians (and some of the others that everyone thought were «cheap» were almost double what New Age wanted!). I have a feeling what the other companies were doing was taking advantage of the fact that I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about when it comes to electrical work. New Age definitely didn’t take advantage of that and I have also learned quite a bit throughout the process! What impressed me, too, is that they seemed to be genuinely interested in the wiring and electrical «status» of my older house (built in 1948) when they came out for the estimate. When it came time to do the work, they arrived right on time and set up drop cloths throughout the entire part of the house they were walking in (and we were in the process of moving in, so they didn’t really have to do this and could have made a mess without me even noticing it!). They worked efficiently all day long and provided status updates throughout. The workers were polite and seemed to really know what they were doing. They came back the next day to finish up the work and that was that. I’ll definitely use them again and will for sure recommend them to my friends. They have secured another «customer for life»!

Keith is the best electrician I have met in DC. When others said they couldn’t fix my dishwasher, Keith did. And it is clear he is a longtime professional who knows how to tackle any electric problem. I highly recommend him, and his company. Professionalism all the way around.
