The location is excellent, the rates very competitive, the units are clean, not damp and easy to navigate when moving in. Lawrence who assisted me was kind, professional, and very helpful. He even left his warm office and ventured into the cold to find a «missing» dolly which made my move in much easier. So far so good. My only complaint is the fact that I was required to buy a specific storage lock that Public Storage charged me $ 20 for but elsewhere the same lock retails for apprx. $ 12, if not for that my review would be 5 stars instead of 4.

I recently helped my girlfriend move out of three units and different facilities around Silver Spring. This place was the best of the three. The unit was clean, dry, absent vermin except for a few spiders. Her valuables were in the same condition coming out as they were going in. The staff were nice, with one exception. Don’t deal with Candace. Calling her a bird brain insults any chicken that can play tic-tac-toe without a helmet.
Bottom line: rent a unit here, it’s great, but not while Candace is there.

I rented the largest space offered at the location. Staff (Samia) was super helpful and accommodating. I will continue to use them for my future storage needs.
