The produce section was limited selection and the fruit looked old. It’s not comparable to similar supermarkets in burtonsville. The bread and meat were limited selection as well. But the hardest part is shopping with kids. The are no kid friendly carts and if you leave out the exit door, you won’t be able to take your cart to your car. You have to leave out the exit, otherwise you are carrying all the bags and the toddler.

I was reminded why I avoid this place! Customer service is almost non existent. I wait at the service counter while the cashiers just watch me. After waiting several minutes, I finally asked a cashier how to get help. Somebody was finally called, but they weren’t much help. I called recently to find out if they carry a certain product. First, I was asked where in the store the product would be!!! That’s why I’m calling… The clerk finally went to look and told me she didn’t think they carried it. When I asked about a date base, she told me she didn’t know how to use it. I asked to speak to the manager — she was the manager. She told me to call 1−800-SAFEWAY. I did. They also told me they don’t have the capability to see what the store carries. Frustrating! I suggest that Safeway check out the Wegmans website. Talk about customer friendly — terrific!
