New to the area, so I walked in to check this place out as it is very conveniently located. Walked back to the food prep area to order some food, then I saw the woman behind the counter grab something from the area she was working and put it in her mouth. Well, mostly in her mouth. she continued open mouth chewing over the food prep area as she was working with a little lettuce or something hanging out. I turned and left without ordering anything.

Ive been eating here over the course of 8 years since I work right around the corner. They have a great variety, whether its from the made to order bar or the hot/cold buffet. Ive never had anything bad from this place, except for maybe gaining a few extra pounds. Restaurant owners and staff are always friendly. Prices are fair, nothing out of the ordinary. I would recommend.

Today I had a cup of Thai chicken soup with coconut milk, and cup of spicy Korean beef soup and a meatball in marsala sauce… We’re in here at least 4 days a week for breakfast, lunch or both, our office is a few steps away. I come here for the variety, I love that their hot bar has different things on an international scale. Quesadillas with pico de gallo, penne with meatballs, beer can chicken, london broil, kimchi, Korean BBQ, general tsos chicken, are just a few of things they’ve served, and everything is tasty. But if you’re into more reliable fare, a decent grilled chicken or fresh turkey sandwich awaits.

I run in to get a breakfast sandwich every so often. They also have a small hot/cold buffet bar if you want a little more variety. Located right off the Silver Spring metro, you can stop in and get a coffee, snack, or a bite to eat. They always seem friendly and the food is always hot. 3 Stars!

For the second time, I’ve ordered, waited for my sandwich, and watched people who ordered AFTER I did walk out with their food while I waited. It wasn’t a matter of cooking – I order a chicken salad sandwich and people with grilled food got theirs before mine. They just forgot my order(writing it down might have helped that). If you’re in a hurry, go elsewhere. Also, it’s annoying that they don’t have a posted price for the salad bar, and don’t list the price for the drinks. Isn’t there some kind of law that prices need to be posted?

Had a decent lunch from TS Grill today. I order a Philly cheese steak and fries. It was pretty good, Cheese steak was better than most. They asked me if I wanted mayo on it and I said yes so I’m wondering if that made a difference on the taste. The fries were your old basic frozen thick cut. They didn’t season the fries with salt at all. Overall it was ok. They have a food bar which was very tempting. They had wings, bbq ribs, general tso’s, sticky white rice veggies and salad bar.

I honestly go here for three very specific things: Sausage Egg and Cheese sandwhich in the AM, Hot Turkey Sandwhich in the PM and either may be accompanied by a Chocolate Chocolate-Chip Yogurt muffin. But these three things are good enough to bring me back time and time again Pros: Convenient to metro, good breakfast, food cooked in front of you, BEST fat free muffins around, rotating lunch menu specials that keep variety. Cons: When it gets hectic during heavy traffic times, it gets a little confusing as to where you can stand /pick up your order. The area is a bit cramped especially waiting for made-to-order food. I think the beverages are a little over-priced and I am sure they re-sell individual sodas marked not for individual resale Prices are about average for the area. Food taste is good, and cleanliness that you can see is good.

TS Grill used to be called Café June but the owners changed a few years ago and it became better. It’s nestled between the Metro and East West Highway as part of Building 2 of NOAA. It has a food bar that has a mixture of Asian and American foods that you can mix and match and at the back is the ordering service where they make sandwiches and wraps, hamburgers etc. They also have a breakfast service before they change to lunch offering eggs, bacon toast etc. This is close to where I work and there food it pretty good and fairly cheap. There is some seating if you want to eat there. Tell them the Cheese Sub guy sent you!
