Carrot cake whoopie pie! OMG! Fantastic!!! They have cookie whoopie pies, cake whoopie pies and chocolate covered cake whoopie pies. There’s salt water taffy in a ton of flavors and you can mix and match! Dipped and decorated pretzels and rice krispy treats… lots of unusual candies and old time ones too! I love this place! If you’re out that way on SR 40, stop in. There’s lots of parking and easy in /​out access.

Whoopie pies and all kinds of marvelous sweets!
It seems like if it can be covered in chocolate then Sweet Jane’s will do it. You’ll find all types of fresh dipped goodies, aside from their famous whoopie pies. Chocolate dipped pretzels, oreos, rice krispy treats and so on. You’ll even find chocolate covered insects! It’s kind of like an old timey candy store as there is also packaged candy, home made fudge and many of the old fashioned bottled soda… refrigerated!
Be fore warned that all of their whoopie pies, whoopie ice cream sandwiches and whoopie cookies have no preservatives. Yay!!! That means that it is all fresh and it must be eaten though in maybe 2 days. I had the Red Velvet Whoopie Pie. It was a bit sweet for me and I couldn’t taste the cocoa but it was as fresh and delish as it could be. I also couldn’t finish it in one sitting. They’re huge!!!

Such a cute little candy store to stop at while you’re traveling. The owner Sally is so incredibly nice and helpful. The Whoopie pies are to die for!
