Plantenders Nursery

The owner, Laurie, came out to look at our yard. He recommended plants for the front side yard. His recommendations were simple and gave a nice clean look. The plants are easy maintenance.

Awesome level of knowledge of plants & flowers. Great pricing. We were looking for some flowers and succulents for our small garden area. We had all of our questions answered and received great advice on what would work in our shaded area. Take the drive down Santiago Canyon, it’s well worth it!

Laurie, the owner, is very personable and he’ll take the time to walk around the nursery with you and discuss every plant he recommends. We’re usually the type of people who shop around, but after meeting with Laurie it was clear that we found a friendly plant expert who would take good care of us.

I stopped by on a whim as I’ve been thinking about trying to move toward more drought tolerant landscaping. I met the owner, Laurie Park, and was instantly comfortable with him. He offered to make a quick drawing of my area with suggestions on how best to layer items of different heights. He then personally walked me around as he described each plant I was considering (how large, different flowers, etc). Long story short, I purchased 23 plants from him today and I’ll be back for more!

Friendly, Exceptional, Professional service!
I needed help with plants for our newly constructed back yard. I made an appt with Plantenders for a complimentary estimate. Mr. Laurie Park showed up on time! We discussed what type of landscaping I wanted along with the level of mantainence of various plants. He took pictures of my yard and made note of the plants I preferred.
One week later, My husband and I drove to Plantenders nursery in Silverado Canyon. Laurie prepared a portfolio filled w/​pictures and descriptions of all the plants we discussed along with photos of my yard with locations of plants. We then walked around the nursery and was shown the actual plants selected. This was very helpful for my husband to visualize the backyard plans.
Laurie and his crew delivered the plants and placed them exactly where we wanted them. We didn’t have a gardener who could help plant everything so he recommended his gardener, Benito, to help. Benito and his crew were so professional, helpful and even helped us adjust our sprinkler system to water properly!
We could have gone to big box nursery, but we would not have gotten the personalized service that Laurie provided.

He will create a plan, help you select plants and deliver them directly from his large nursery. All you have to do is plant them! When we redid our backyard last year we knew nothing about plants. All we knew is that we wanted a low maintenance yard and a tropical look. We went to see Laurie, who could not have been friendlier or more helpful. He came by the house, measured our yard and a few weeks later had created a custom plan with palms, succulents and an amazing array of flowers and shrubs. Next we walked through his nursery and picked the plants we wanted (including 3 very large Queen Palms). The following weekend Laurie and his crew delivered the palms and, since I needed time to plant them, a couple weeks later he returned with the remaining plants, placing them according to his plan in our yard. My sons and I planted them. Today, over a year later the yard looks fantastic! Exactly as Laurie promised, we’ve had a continual array of colors blooming since March. We could not be happier. We have a thriving yard that looks professionally landscaped (because it is!) yet we spent a fraction of the money buying direct and doing the planting ourselves. Laurie Park and Plantenders is one of those little secrets that anyone in Orange County needing help with landscaping should know.

We love this place, I wish we had come here sooner! The best plants and fruit trees and great help, a well kept secret for the locals is out! The owner is really nice too!
