I was in search of not only A chiropractor but THE chiropractor to help me with the infinite number of problems I’ve been having with my neck and upper back for the last few years. I had been given no helpful recommendations from friends or clients(I’m a hairstylist) and found this place on google. I was extremely nervous to go, considering how the day of my first visit I was in tears any time I had to move my upper body at all, Dr Williams did an amazing job of making me comfortable, looking me in the eyes while he speaks, and explained to me everything I should know, the ins and outs of chiropractic if you will, before he began adjusting me. He was and is able to pinpoint my pain with out even mentioning it to him. I have no insurance, and he has worked with me tremendously to figure out payment options. I have only met him and his receptionist, but I already love them both. After years of MD’s, physical therapy, massage, pain meds, and anything else you can think of, he is the first one to actually make me feel better and mobile again. I don’t know where I would be right now if it wasn’t for him and I’ve only gone 4 times. I can’t wait until I feel 100% again and i never would have thought feeling 100% again was even an option, until now. I can say that as long as I live here, he will be my go to guy and I’m so glad I found this place, I got extremely lucky! I highly recommend him to anyone, and hope every one enjoys him and his staff as much as I do! You won’t regret your visit here, that’s for sure :)

Sleazy business practices, the adjustments are good, but everything else is a nightmare. I was in pain so I went in, from day one it was extremely high pressure tactics. The staff attempted to force me to make another appointment before I left, I didn’t so they called me from various different phone numbers so it didn’t even matter that I put them in my phone under«do not answer». When that didn’t work, they just made up an appointment and called with a reminder to which I said I did not have an appointment. When that didn’t work, they made another bogus appointment and used a text service to send me a reminder I had an appointment, the text said I had to pay to respond to the text to stop getting the text alerts. On top of all that, their policy is they bill you if you don’t show up to the appointment, so you have to call and cancel when they make up an bogus appointment or they will send you a bill. Giving them my insurance info was the worst mistake, an adjustment was $ 45 out of pocket, as soon as they had my insurance info, the same adjustment became several different areas of adjustment for a price of $ 120 for a single visit. On top of all of that, I got charged interest before I even got the bill for the adjustment. No adjustment, no matter how good is worth dealing with those business practices and paying $ 120 for a single visit.

Pushy sales techniques pushed me over the edge. I bought a $ 20 deal for a free chiropractic exam/evaluation, 30 minute massage, and 30 minute acupuncture session. First of all, I had to do them all in 3 different sessions, which was not ideal for my time schedule(I work full-time and have a kid in daycare). The acupuncture was surprisingly relaxing for me, as I was a little apprehensive my first time going in. One of my appointment times ran over, so my massage appointment was late, but my masseuse cut in my massage time short by over 10 minutes. A «30 minute massage» for only 15 minutes really made me upset. I really liked Dr. Williams and his chiropractic techniques. However, they billed my insurance $ 60 – 65 for every visit, with an additional $ 30 co-pay with every visit. Is it just me, or is that a bit much for 5 minutes of treatment? I didn’t have any serious back or neck problems, so I decided not to continue when they formulated a «plan of care» which would cost more than $ 1000 and multiple visits to their office, along with a purchase of home equipment. No thanks. Anyways, they were EXTREMELY pushy when it came to booking the next appointment. They kept calling me on my cell phone with different phone numbers(probably because people started avoiding their calls), until they finally gave up after a month of unanswered calls and messages. In summary, the back and neck cracks were nice, but not enough for me to endure the hassle and financial commitment.

Great Results. I came to Advanced Wellness Acupuncture with painful bursitis in both shoulders. The pain was terrible and kept from rock climbing, running and even kept me from sleeping because it was hard to roll over or lay on my side. I went to my regular doctor who told me to take an over the counter NSAID pain reliever. After three months of no relief from the pain and decided to try something different. Advanced Wellness”s Kieran Jones treated me with acupuncture for a total of 7 weeks. After four weeks, my right arm was nearly completely better and over the next few weeks, my right arm became 90% pain free. I also used an herbal formula Kieran recommended along with exercises and dietary supplements(like flax seed oil). In the weeks since, my situation has gotten even better and I am climbing again and starting to run.(tough after 7 months). I know this program won’t work for everyone. It’s not ‘take a pill and feel better’. It’s not a something for nothing deal or quick fix fad. You have to be a partner with your provider and take control of your health. You have to be willing to look at your lifestyle and daily routine as being either part of the problem or part of the solution. I LOVE that approach and I think the providers and staff at Advanced wellness did a great job of being partners in my recovery. Thank you Advanced Wellness!

Predatory. I was sucked in by a coupon from the home show that gave me a «free» consultation, as well as a «free» massage and acupuncture. I was railroaded and guilt into getting three chiropractic visits before I could redeem the massage and acupuncture. At the end of it all, I was taken to a little office where some guy tried to get me to commit to more therapy. I declined, because it was not helping my back problem, and I can’t pay $ 40 a pop for a chiropractor. Today, I get… a bill! I paid upfront for everything(it’s their policy), but it looks like they billed my insurance for my «free» massage and acupuncture, and billed me for the rest. Beware! I was going to continue massage therapy with them, since that actually worked, but I don’t want to deal with them ever again, except to dispute this ridiculous bill for«free» services.
