Went in today to get my monthly flower bouquet. My husband bought me a 12 mth bouquet card from a charity. Every time I go in They ask me if I want to upgrade for a cost. Today was no exception. A red headed woman behind the counter asked me if I wanted to upgrade I said no. Apparently she wasn’t finished and countinued her speech about upgrading and gave me a dirty look. I again said no and asked if I could put it in the system that I would prefer to not be asked every time. She looked very pissed and said no they can’t do that and they are supposed to ask. She was very rude. I definitely don’t like coming to this location. If I wanted to upgrade my flower arrangement I would ask about doing it. Whenever they ask you They seem put out of you don’t upgrade. Customers should not feel obligated to upgrade.

Two days prior to Bosses Day I called and order flowers to be delivered to my ex-boss, who is also a good friend. When I called I specifically asked if they could deliver on base(Bangor) and if they could deliver before noon. I was told yes and yes, no problem. With this knowledge I placed an order and was excited to think about the fun everyone in the office would have when these beautiful flowers arrive and everyone comes out of their offices to shower my friend(and ex-boss) with love. I waited to hear how this surprise went… but what I heard was… because they COULDNOT deliver the flowers to the base until AFTER my friends office closed, at 3pm, my friend would have to GETHERFLOWERSFROMTHEIRSTOREHERSELF! Imagine my disappointment when I learned how badly my surprise had gone and my poor friend who now had to get her own flowers. So much for the Happy Bosses Day surprise. When I learned this I called the store and spoke with the mgr. She told me the person taking the order was new and didn’t know she couldn’t promise delivery before noon. That they only have 1 person with base access and she was never certain of his schedule. So if my friend wanted her flowers she had 2 choices… either drive there and get them herself OR stand on the side of the road outside the base gate and the flowers could be delivered there by another driver. Either way NOT what I had in mind and NOT what I had paid for. When I asked why I hadn’t been contacted there was no answer. When I asked about the delivery fee I had been charged, the mgr said, in a snarky tone, «if it will make you feel better, I will refund the delivery fee». I was shocked… there was NO delivery, so yes I expected a refund of that fee. At no time did the mgr seem to understand why I was disappointment and why this took away from the surprise I had planned. Had I known flowers could not be delivered by noon and to the office I would NOT have ordered anything. My advice to any and all military folks… go elsewhere.

After contacting the owner from Afghanistan and having her look at the photo my wife pasted on FaceBoook, she created a bouquet that looked more like the sales ad photo and brought it to her and apologized to me. That was good customer service.

I came on here to pan this flowers to go. They made an error with an arrangement that was really important to us. Bottom line though– we place two(neither small) orders with this FTG and got both. One was delivered through another location who called the day before to say that they did not have one of the flowers needed to make the arrangement we had ordered from the Silverdale location over a week before. Okay– who is at fault then? Well apparently the Silverdale location did not bother to send the order over until the day before so I put the blame right here. Okay, you had this order over a week but knew that you would not be the flowers to go to actually arrange flowers and deliver them. So you didn’t bother notifying the store like 5 miles away to tell them because??? FAIL. If you order flowers for an important event(wedding; funeral; even a graduation maybe) something that is a once-in-a-lifetime thing… not just another birthday, valentines day or anniversary… its is especially important that they are not screwed up! Thankfully in the end the other location came through and the arrangement turned out okay.(though I think a partial refund would be appropriate). Now as for the second order… I specifically said no baby’s breath. Less crap or all green is fine– but none of that stuff. I hate it. I just think its tacky. Its a personal thing. So when we get a bunch of baby’s breath… I am less than pleased. Thanks for listening Flowers To Go. Best thing I can say about this flowers to go is that they are there– and I think they are the only florist in Silverdale now. Good for them.

Valentine’s Day 2011… I ordered flowers for my mother on and ordered flowers for my wife on . My wife received her flowers at 10am and a email receipt was sent to me at noon. At 6pm, I still have not received a phone call from my mother saying she got the flowers yet(or a receipt via email). I called the toll free number and some lady answered with a lot of noise in the background(people chatting about paychecks), which I thought was unprofessional. I asked her if she can check the status of my order because it’s already getting late. She put me on hold for 3 minutes and when she came back, this is what she said: «Your order is still in the delivery truck and they will be delivering flowers for another 2 hours… so your mother should get them within 2 hours, okay?» This was all said with the background noise and no apology at all. I don’t know who wants to receive flowers from a delivery worker at 8pm… but I find that service unacceptable. Next time I will be ordering all my flowers from .
