Derek is amazing! A true professional in installation. My SONOS system and direct tv install were better than I could have imagined. Fast affordable and so easy to work with. Naomi who helped us with the packing of our service has the best customer service I’ve ever witnessed. I recommend them for anything audio video related. Along the way they explain everything and answer every question.

I’d recommend them over Gig harbor audio, and Nuts about high fi. The owner is very down to earth and knowledgable about gear. Whether your just getting started in hi fi or your just in the mood to hear some new gear this is the place to go on the peninsula.

If you haven’t been to Kitsap Audio Video yet you truly are missing out on an experience of a lifetime. Derek, the owner, is extremely helpful and has a plethora of knowledge on all things Audio /​Video related.
After being convinced by a good friend of mine that I really needed a stereo in my life we took a trip to Kitsap Audio Video. I explained to Derek that I wasn’t looking to spend too much considering I was just getting started. After a lot of tech talk and explanations of different level gear Derek hooked me up with an epic deal on a used B&K Pre-​Amp, Amp, Rear speakers to match my current set, and all the Audioquest cables I needed.
Not only was Derek able to get me a complete setup for inside my budget, he was also a very laid back guy and simple to work with. He respected my opinion and was honest with me on all my tech questions. In other words he wasn’t trying to sell me something I didn’t need. When it came time to needing something that he wasn’t sure he had, he went into his back room and brought me out exactly what I needed and said it was on the house.
Don’t wait until you’re in Silverdale next, you need to make a special trip just to meet Derek and hang out inside an awesome store with friendly people. I will definitely be going back.

A great store run by great people. They really work with your budget which was a huge help when buying a new stereo system for my house. I’ve been to other high fi places that almost laughed when I said I was trying to keep it under$ 1500. Kitsap audio and video got me an excellent receiver, turntable, and a killer deal on a pair of barely used Boston acoustic speakers from their used equipment in the back. The vinyl collection in the back is also getting pretty big, definitely worth spending an afternoon digging thru.

Derek really runs a great and comfortable shop. I showed up with a group of friends to look at his record selection (which was excellent) and he ended making the visit a very personal and informative experience. Blown away by his knowledge on audio tech and his friendliness. Great place for any music enthusiast to come in and see the possibilities for a sound system.

Im extremely happy with my purchasing experience at kitsap audio and video. When I first walked in I was greeted by a very nice woman named Naomi a little while later I met and talked with the owner derek who gave me a great deal on a subwoofer and a receiver to go with it. The setup was a breeze and the system sounds amazing. Both of the staff members I met today went above and beyond and helped me get a great system for my house. Thank you guys! After being frustrated for years by my inability to compare internet/​TV services on my own, I lucked out when a friend recommended Kitsap Audio Video. Naomi asked questions about the features that were important to me, and a half hour later we had come up with a plan that she estimated would save me over $ 100 a month. She walked me through every aspect of what I needed to do to cancel my existing service, and followed up to make sure all had gone well (it was super easy, and it had).
The next day KAV’s installer came and set everything up in very short order. My new TV service (Dish TV) is easy and intuitive, and has everything I need for far less than I was paying before. Derek suggested I buy my own router which works much better than the one Comcast was providing, and it paid for itself in about 8 months. Best of all, I’m saving well over $ 125 a month, for BETTER service than I had before.
I have recommended Naomi and Derek to friends who have also been extremely happy with the service and products they’ve received. Honestly, this is a MILLION times easier and more pleasant than calling someone in India to figure out a plan of action. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!

Popped in here to purchase a Sonos Sub and Playbar and the owner Derek was stoked to help us discover how awesome they were. When someone loves their job it shows, Kitsap Audio is a place where you can witness this first hand. Derek was both fun and knowledgable about the questions we had. We were a bit worried about the compatibility of our newly purchased speakers with the new TV we bought, Kitsap Audio took the time to make sure all would be kosher with this combo. We will be bringing our business here again in the future.

Derek has been trying to get me to upgrade my 20+yrs old Adcom amp for a few years now. I pretty much thought he was full of poo, it sounded good still. And dropping $ 2k or more on an amplifier seemed excessive, I’m at best a audio hobbyist. I just want good sound. But I’m a boy and can’t leave well enough alone and picked up a Emotiva XPR-​5, Led Zepplin 3 on 180 vinyl sounds phenomenal! Way more top end and midrange, it really doesn’t sound like the same system. I’m very pleased with the price and sound quality.

I want to highly recommend «Kitsap Audio Video», located in Silverdale. We have been having problems with our wifi connection for years now and everyone in our household hated doing anything on the internet because the connection was so slow and unstable. Wave Cable kept saying that there was nothing that they could do because it was just the area in which we live.
Chad Brown from «Kitsap Audio Video» heard my complaint and suggested that it may just be a router issue. He recommended a router that he thought may be compatible with our system in which would be easy to install. The new router is working awesome and was really easy to install.
Our internet has never worked this great and my family is beyond happy with its performance. I can’t speak highly enough about Chad Brown and «Kitsap Audio Video», they evaluated my family’s current needs and were able to come up with a solution that solved our dilemma in both a professional and hassel free manner.

Since I wrote my original review I have purchased a pre-​owned pair of Focal Chorus 814V speakers in great shape from Derek for $ 600.00, a super deal and I am very pleased with them. I also had him convert my bi-​wired Tara Labs Prism speaker cables to work with them and he used high quality Audio Quest 500 Series gold banana plugs and some method that avoids the use of high temperature soldering in order to not compromise the atomic structure of the conductor.
I subsequently bought a few pieces of Sonos equipment as well from him for use in my office, so now I have great-​sounding streaming music there.
So as I stated in my previous review, this is a great place to go to just listen to music on lots of neat equipment and bring some vinyl with you and have Derek show you his record-​cleaning equipment and get spinning.
