Their accounting people are incompetent, check your on-line banking program for double billing. Be prepared to be out eating and get surprised by an ISF from the waiter.(Whole nother story on McGraths Unilocal review.) Clean room, smelled nice, friendly staff. Great location to the NEX main side.

My husband and I recently stayed in the suite with a living room. Super spacious. Very clean. Extremely convenient to the Bangor Plaza where the Navy Ball was held. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

After reading other reviews and spending 5 days here, I don’t see how anyone can give this place less than 4 stars. The room was bigger than the $ 115/night hotel I stayed in, rooms were cleaner, and staff were incredibly helpful. They even helped me reserve rooms at a different hotel when they were full. I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else while in town.

This is a review for the location AKA Smokey Point. I stayed here for about 12 days. Room-decent Cleaning Service-prompt daily and decent Free laundry room with nice washers but the dryers were OLD and TOOHOT… ruined some of my clothes. 5 minute walk to the Navy Exchange and Commissary which was good. About 10 minutes from the Casino also.

Suites don’t have kitchenettes. I had a sticky floor that smelled like Frito’s my last visit. Guest laundry is also used by staff for towels and etc. No elevator(which you’ll come to wish you had if you need to drag your suitcases up or down the stairs). Wifi sucks real bad — don’t even count on it if you’re trying to log on during peak hours. If you’re military, it’s not a bad deal — cheaper than the hotels out in town and within walking distance of most base amenities(NEX, dining, gym, etc.) but, other than that, it’s just ok. Oh yeah, the staff is very friendly, helpful and sociable. Yep, that pretty much sums it up.
