Typical breakfast kind of place in the morning. The service wasn’t bad, and the food was decent. There was a group of loud kids next to us, which didn’t add to the experience but they seem to be everywhere nowadays. Outdated interior, dirty coffee carafe, and overpriced for what it is. But, the stuffed hashed browns and the French toast were tasty.

The pie shakes here are a must-try! My favs are s’mores and cookies and cream. Also, sign up for the membership club to get deals like free and $ 1 pies. The rest of the food is typical diner food. Service is hit or miss, mostly hit.

Our first time to eat at a Shari’s restaurant. After ordering, I commented«How could they possibly mess up breakfast?» I didn’t give the cook enough credit. On the check, I see that they charged me extra for my eggs to be scrambled. And they were very undercooked, not even firm enough to pick up with a fork. I asked for very crispy bacon and it was so undercooked it was almost see-through. The biscuits were terrible and the cream gravy was barely more than cloudy water. Even the coffee was disgusting. The server was sweet which warrants the one star rating. We will never go back to Shari’s.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, by the cars in the parking lot, you would think this place was delicious. Well it’s not, first of all let’s start off with the severity and desperate dying need of better and more customer service. Megan was our waitress, after waiting about 6 – 10 mins, we had to actually ask for her. Once she was found by another waitress, She came over to our table, said she would gladly take our drink order, and food order at the same time, as she apologized for the time consumption, and misplacement of her action. Now, A normal customer would take the apology as she was going to improve or do better. Absolutely not, We were incorrect, and under the wrong impression of what an apology means, took even longer to bring out the rest of the order which was burnt, after receiving it, room temperature, and bad tasting. We had several items removed off our ticket, after showing her the cooks errors, wondering why would you even serve that, but we decided to chunck it all up as a completely horrifying experience.

Great Service! I ordered the Country Fried Steak with Stuffed Hashbrowns and Pancakes. Everything was cooked perfectly and the Pancakes were nice and fluffy! Their silverware needs a better wash!

This is one of the best Shari’s in are area. The staff is super kind and fast. It’s the only resturaunt open 24 hours in Silverdale. I’m a believer that a Shari’s beats a Denny’s anytime even though they have a similar menu and pricing.

Just finished my breakfast at this establishment. I had a simple request — no caramel on my french toast. Not rocket science. When it got there, it was drenched in caramel. They had to take it back and re-make it. There were parts of the toast that were undercooked. I assume this was because they had tried to hurry it along. A little uncooked egg never hurt anyone right :/? I took most home where I will finish cooking it. I watched my husband eat his entire meal before mine came out, kind of defeats the purpose of going out to breakfast together. Spoke with manager at the cash register. He apologized and said it should have been on the ticket and that he would have a talk with the server. Really? That’s it? I guess I am expecting too much. Do I always need something free, no, but in this situation, it would be nice to know that they actually CARED. Had this been my business, knowing that there is a new breakfast restaurant a few doors down, I think I would have offered SOMETHING as proof that I was concerned. It’s Shari’s for gawds sake, a piece of pie maybe? Not sure we will return anytime soon…

We’ve eaten here 2x, once at the Bremerton location and once here. We enjoyed most of the food and the pie of course. I would not recommend the biscuits and gravy though. The biscuits are really dry and the gravy is tasteless and only had 2 little itty bitty sausage crumbs in it, glad it came with eggs, bacon and hash browns because that all I ended up eating and those were really good. Here is what we ordered at this location: Sautéed Mushrooms — really good The Trail Boss Burger w/fries — Highly Recommended but super messy Farmhouse Biscuit Breakfast — would not order again Plain Belgian Waffle w/side of cottage cheese — good Chocolate Cream Pie Slice — great Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Slice– great

Ate here last night… friendly staff. Gotta love the free pie on Wednesday deal. Tried the All American panini sandwich paired with a salad. Yummy sandwich and very filling. Their artichoke Parmesan soup is so good. Thanks for having a few NSA pie options.

There was 1 waitress, the banana cream pie wasn’t very good, but the seasoned fries and the odd burger I had was great on a pretzel bun. I think the menu is over whelming, it’s all over the place. It took me a long time to choose. Honestly I was tired after driving across the county we had just arrived and it was late. This was the only place open other then ihop. I wish there had been more staff, and I wish the menu was slimmed down. We might go back here eventually, I’m just in no rush to do so.

I stopped by to pick up a pie for my husbands birthday in March 2015. There were two people in the restaurant, the cook and a waitress. They were hunkered over the kitchen serving window, the cook looked at me and made a Pig sooie call. They burst into laughter, the waitress was nervous, but polite. The pies there are excellent, but I will«Never» enter that establishment again.

This place really need to invest in a better Dishwasher, my gf ordered coffee and her coffee mug still had lipstick stain on the. At least look at the cup before you serve it. Utensils were dirty, had to ask for new ones. I had the traditional breakfast typical Bacon, eggs, hashbrown and toast. I had ordered over medium eggs, it came out overeasy, and had alot of either oil or butter on it. The bottom of the eggs was still runny/watery, I picked it up and it was just dripping. My GF ordered the berries crepes, thinking they were going to use real berries. But it turned out to be Jam Berries, so she was disappointed. Will have to skip this place next time.

Here for comfort food from the«old person» menu followed with pie. I read other reviews and thought, seriously, of course you’re disappointed if the expectations are set too high. It’s a medium-level family restaurant. It’s clean and moderately priced. Food’s hot and we were nicely greeted. Silverware is clean and the table wiped down. I’ve paid more for less elsewhere.

Worst service from Joni! Worst food from the cook. Everything was cooked to death and almost everyone at our table sent back their food. My only positive for this Unilocal is that the seseme dressing on my salad was rwally really good. Manager apologized for her service and said that he sent her home. Still paid for breakfast $ 44 no tip.

Went out with the girls for our last Fatty Friday before reminding ourselves to eat right. But that’s not what this is about although the question is how was it and was it worth it? The service was good. Friendly, quick, and no excessive interruptions which I prefer when I go out to eat. Tiffany was her name and the 3 stars does not reflect her service. The 3 stars reflect the food. This was my second trip to Shari’s. The first was back in April when my sis and I really wanted some breakfast late in the day after a trip to Seattle. We had been told by several people how awesome it was, they grew up with it, etc… During that trip the food easily took 45 minutes to get to us even though it was eggs and pancakes. And they were far from good. This trip was about milkshakes. I can’t eat the famous pie milkshakes they are known for so ordered a simple chocolate one. I was not impressed. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by all the 50’s diners I have inhabited(or even better yet loooong ago a little Woolworths in Pittsburgh…) but still I believe I should be impressed. I also ordered their parmesan tator tots because they said they were gf. They were edible and better than the milkshake, but very greasy. I doubt I will choose to come back myself. Twice was enough for me.

Well, I grew up frequenting Shari’s(though it was a location a couple hours from here) and I have always loved their warm, homey feel and the consistency with which they prepare their food. As an adult, this is my favorite place to escape and do my homework, drink coffee, and have a warm meal in the process. Their menu is huge, so there are a ton of options. They’re prone to make mistakes, just like any restaurant, but they are always willing to make it right, and nearly always with a smile. This particular location is clean and their servers and managers are always welcoming and positive. The coffee is fresh and hot, the meals are good and service is consistent! I will be back — for years to come.

Sharis Silverdale August 30th. This store does not even deserve one star. We were meeting with a worker of Kitsap County for breakfast on August 30th and(we thought we were suppose to meet in Port Orchard Sharis) so we spent $ 40 on breakfast and coffee in Port Orchards Sharis, then we found out we were in the wrong Shari’s meeting place and promptly went to Silverdale Shari’s. The manager came up to us and said rudely and brutality that” we need an order from this table or you cannot stay”. We were all in so much shock no one knew what to say. The worker we were with said we would order something,(she had already ordered coffee) my husband ordered Orange juice. The orange juice was served in a hot glass. Then a waitress came and told us the same thing. The worker who asked us to meet there has had many meetings there and spends a lot of money(tips generously) per month there. We also eat at Shari’s and order pies from them a couple of times a month. If I was not in the company of a kitsap county worker I would of asked for the district manager. In fact, I am going to write a detailed letter of my family’s experience there. The tone of voice and body language of being asked to order or leave was so hostile that I would not even challenge this man in person because I would be afraid how he would react and for my personal safety and for the safety of those around me. This man should not be working in the public. I will never return to Shari’s in Silverdale and I will make it well known to every person and rating site on the internet. It is unfortunate that this man would not listen or did not care that Shari’s was not going to be out any money by us being there and that we had already patronized a Shari’s that morning and all parties at our table have spent considerable amounts of money there. I will say they have a lot to learn from the Port Orchard store as they have been very accommodating to us two Saturdays in a row. Customer service was great, and they were all very kind to us. PS) The farmhouse breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, the biscuits are hard, not enough gravy and the bacon is bland and tastes like it was cooked in the microwave. However, I can over look those issues compared to the treatment of the manager there at the Sharis Silverdale store. I hope no one else has to experience the wrath if they order just orange juice and coffee or do not give them a order fast enough when they are meeting with people. My hope is that you will offer this manager another job that does not allow him to deal with the public.

A fairly quick trip for breakfast on a Monday morning. Since I was in the area and craving some breakfast with a greasy edge I found Shari’s and quickly grabbed a spot at the counter. I had read the reviews on Unilocal and can only guess that the ones complaining about slow service must have been there at peak brunch time on a weekend morning because I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and I ate there. I really appreciate that the corned beef hash was not the all too common Mary Kitchen variety that most diners serve up. This was real corned beef and was tasty. The regular hash browns were lightly golden brown and not too full of grease. Also appreciated was having a trio of Tabasco sauces delivered to make any needed adjustments to the platter. Service was quick and friendly. If the need arises again I would not hesitate to return.

I don’t frequent a Shari’s very ofter, but this one could use some help. Something about the atmosphere just doesn’t feel right… maybe the worn out furniture could be examined. The menu is typical, but the food I ordered just was only adequate. My omelet was burnt… re do it… then there wasn’t any cheese… not anywhere… the nice waitress did go get some in a little dish so it could be sprinkled over the meal… but just wasn’t the same. and I ordered the turkey bacon as a side dish… I didn’t actually expect it to be broken up and put into my omelet. Sorry…perhaps I will frequent Denny’s and the IHOP before going back to a Shari’s.
