This review is for the Gig Harbor location since Unilocal is unable to locate it. When you think of Mongolian grill, one thinks of unlimited food for about $ 20. Well this one has a one(1) plate limit. For 11.99 a person. they give you a whole ¼ cup of their egg soup, and a pinch of salad. You are able to take your leftovers home, probably won’t have any but that is a very nice option to have. The gentleman cooking the food was very clean, seemed friendly and smiled, both of the girls working looked like they were forced to be there. Half way through our meal more people came in and one of the girls came to help the gentleman at the grill with no hair net. First time I’ve seen a girl without a hair net cooking food. Probably a health violation but the people who’s food she was preparing didn’t mind so I guess it’s just me. So the bill came to be $ 26.50 it was my wife and I so 11.99 + 11.99 = 23.98 but the rest is tax I’m assuming? So I left hungry probably going to stop by and grab a mcchiken or something Anyway, we will never be coming back to this establishment. Awful service, not worth my hard earned money.

Usually like food but last time I went there was barely any veggies or meat. When we got there the place was empty and the ladies were just sitting there not doing anything. I had to tell them to put more meat. Most of the tables were also dirty. I don’t like that all the ladies working there are very serious it makes you feel unwelcome, they don’t even bother to ask how’s everything.

I’ve never had an issue with the food. I do however have an issue with the atmosphere. It’s usually fairly empty and quiet. The staff, as someone else posted, seem bored and unhappy. The last time I was there, I watched the staff and none of them even remotely tried to smile or be friendly with the customers. They definitely do not go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

My family has been eating here and been faithful customers since they opened. We have brought friends and family. I am very disappointed with there attitude toward requesting a smaller bowl portion. I am not sure they realize that they are loosing a family of customers. I had lap sleeve surgery that only allow a small portion of food. I have a card from my doctor the allows me to order off the kids or senior menu. The staff stated that they do not honor these request. So for me and my family we will go elsewhere. This is the first restaurant that I have had not honor a request to utilize a smaller portions price. We will go to the Golden Mongolian Grill in Silverdale. They have great service and food and offer a reduced price for my meal. As for wok on fire they will not see any more of my money until they change their policy. You would think that having me pay for a smaller portion wold be better than losing our families as customers.

First off when we entered almost every table was filled with plates and cups. There was almost no bowls and there was no meat left. There was no seasoning, I found that to be odd. The waitress spent most of her free time on her phone, so that explained the dirty tables. I just didn’t care for the atmosphere, service or cleanliness of this place. We won’t be going back.

I’ve eaten here several times. Like most Mongolian grills, the food is what you make of it. The staff is nice. 4 stars only because they often seen bored with their job and because there is little variety in the food(double edged sword — on a plus side you always know what to expect).

Place is gross! Food is awful! People are rude! I only had a few bites of my food and couldn’t eat it anymore. Tasted like frozen refried top ramen. Go next door to eat instead. This is the worst food I have ever had anywhere. I would give it zero stars if I could!

This place sucks! It was dirty, the waitresses were all rude and all of the food was frozen none of it was fresh. I’ve been to some really good Mongolian style restaurants and this place couldn’t hit sand if they fell off a camel. I personally don’t know how the owner can even keep the lights on in this establishment. Every time I look inside nobody’s in there. My tip, you should probably close your doors so a new restaurant can move in.

The food is super good, very fast and easy. They bring your drinks and soup out to you super fast. The food takes like five minutes to cook. I would go back any day.

For the one of the only wok places around its an alright place, usually empty so its weird to get food and eat it there when its so quiet, especially when its just you and the cook. Get it to go I recommend and get as much as possible lol, or as much as you can eat. fresh ingredients and they cook it very nicely. An assortment of sauces to choose from and always great steamed rice every time i go.

Love this place! You get so much food for the price and you get to make it all yourself, who doesn’t love complete control? I will say you should follow their recommendations for the juices to add to make it yummy because I have played«mad scientist«before and have regretted my choices, but that was my fault. I love watching them make the food for you as well, it’s a really really beat experience. Definitely should go!

Yes. So much yes. We go here about once a week or so. The food is awesome. One bowl can last me several meals. It’s fun to try out new combinations. It’s not a fancy restaurant, but we like it that way. The staff is great. My daughter left a doll there and the next time we came back(without realizing that’s where we left it) they had it waiting for us.

Being a big fan of Mongolian Grill-esque vittles my wife and I were anticipating trying this place. The staff was VERY nice and explained their way of doing things and we made our way to the bar to fill our bowls. The selection was not that great compared to other Mongolian Grills in Silverdale and I thought the price was a little steep for the offerings. I don’t want to say it was horrible, it was just that I’ve experienced much better in town so my desire to return here is quite simply non-existent.

I always take my friend and her kid here because it’s reliable, affordable, and entertaining. The food is typical Mongolian Grill food. Nothing to write home about. You get to watch the person on the grill prepare the food. Kids actually like this. Keep this in mind if you’ve got a kid or two. They also have kiddy bowls, but the meals are so large my friend usually shares with her kid. There’s an all-you-can eat option for the very adventurous.

I’m a big fan of mongolian grill so I made a special trip to town to check this out. My parents had been before and weren’t fans, but I think they are too picky. I love that they have the option to do either do 1 bowl for 7.99 $ or all you can eat for only 2 $ more. I also appreciate that they have tofu as an option. Not as many food choices as some places, but still plenty. Its comparable to the other mongolian grill places in the area although not as great as my overall favorite. I’d defintely come again and likely will as I am not a fan of many of the local eating establishments. I hear coupons are often available making it even more reasonable. I do wish they had black olives though.

This is a good little Mongolian BBQ place. Plus the name is awesome. It’s not the best but not the worst. I like that the veggies always seem fresh. The meat options are good. I do wish they had more rice/noodle options available. I wish they had the glass noodles. The staff here has always been very friendly. I will continue to come here as long as I’m in the area.

Meh. Nothing quite memorable about this place. The food was decent quantity wise, but the quality was lackluster. I wish there had been more vegetable selections, toppings, and hearty sauces. The meat just didn’t look that great either. My bowl just wasn’t tasty enough for me to justify the $ 11 price tag. I would suggest trying this place only if you have the Value-pak coupon, otherwise I would skip it. I was also slightly frustrated that you couldn’t take your leftovers home unless you wanted to pay the«all you can eat» price. Um ok. There is only so much you can stuff in one bowl, and I’m sure they just throw out the food anyways! Such a waste.

My family tried Wok on Fire for the first time last week. It was A-OK. No major complaints. I thought the food was very good. It was considerably smaller than most other Mongolian barbecues I’ve been to around the world, but still enjoyable. I still found plenty of ingredients to fill my bowl and hand to the guy at the grill. I very much appreciate that the hostess was able to tell me exactly what sauce had MSG in it so I could enjoy my dinner without a follow-on MSG headache. Service was fine. Nothing to write home about, but not bad by any means. Prices were reasonable. I would go back here again.
