Yay, shoes!
Definitely dug this little shoe boutique and found the selection of kicks to be stellar and the service even stellarer (yeah, that’s a word). While most of the awesome stuff was for the gents, they’ve done a really nice job of integrating some chicky stuff into the mix as well. Purses, jewelry and even a rack of clothes were there for the femmes to peruse. If I was a guy and looking for some stylin foot garb, I would definitely hit this place up.

mmm… shoes.
i like shoes… in particular sneakers. while i admit i’m not the sneakerhead that many out there are… but i appreciate a good shoe. kicks has a good selection and also has some awesome sales so u can get shoes from the good selection at a good price.

The Larchmont location is usually my first stop because they have a bigger selection– but this Silverlake location is still likable. Retro Asics, Nike Dunks from Europe, and New Balance from Japan fill the shelves. the experience alone in here is worth the visit. the staff enjoy talking about sneakers… what you like and don’t like, what’s the latest exclusive sneaker out, and even where you’re chillin’ at that night. they’re that awesome.
you can customize your kicks, too. i love that.

I got a pair of sneakers there. I really wasnt expecting to buy anything as I was merely browsing some pretty merchandise. But then came along the most charming and endearing sales person, Desiree. She really engaged me and we spent about 30 miutes talking shoes and she convinced me to go with a great pair of sneakers that I love. The prices were ok, but the experience was tremendous. I will shop there for my sneakers everytime to experience friendly, genuine one on one customer service. Thanks Kicks! Love ya, baby.

This branch of Kicks Sole Provider in Silverlake has topnotch customer service. The selection of shoes is limited but they do have this neat consignment area where people can bring in their limited edition kicks and the store will sell them. The store caries a limited selection of Pumas, Adidas, Converse, Asics, Nike, ALIFE, and Gola. They also carry a small selection of clothes by Stussy, ALIFE, and other designers. The vibe at this store is cool and unassuming not elitist like some other stores.
