I had a guide trip set up, but I didn’t fish with these guys because my wife got sick. I went into the store and everybody was friendly and helpful.
They let me reschedule no problem.
The store is fully stocked, and we’ll definitely be back.

This if for sure one of my favorite shops. Staff is always eager to help out and let you know whats been going on down on the rivers. They are knowledgeable and never make you feel like you are asking too many questions. Only complaint is that they don’t update their online fishing report enough. Either way, this shop deserves 5 stars

Such an awesome shop, really well kept. The guys are extremely helpful and will show you what you need to do on the water to catch fish. They are much better than cutthroat anglers when it comes to customer service. Go here!

Best guides in the area — I’ve fished the Colorado, Blue and Ark with several of their guides and have always had a great time. More importantly, unlike a lot of other fly shops, the staff in the shop is super friendly and no-​attitude — they are always willing to share their knowledge when I stop by.

Ryan just hooked me up on the Colorado for the 4th of July. Put me on some HOT bugs and put me on a perfect spot on the river. Result? Best fishing day of my life. Flies in the shop aren’t cheap, but the knowledge shared will help you find fish and hopefully have a day like I had yesterday!

I just took a raft trip on the Arkansas with Colorado Angler. It was amaizing. The fishing was great and the service was exceptional. Everything was planned perfectly and the Guide certainly knew the river. It was a great time. I will certainly book another trip with them.

As a female new to the sport of fly fishing, I was hesitant to go on a guided trip in a boat. I have spent most of my limited experience wading and felt like the boat would be above my skill level. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Our guide at the Colorado Anger was so patient and knowledgeable of the river. He made me feel comfortable with me limited skills and best of all I caught so many fish!
In conclusion, ladies, if you have ever wanted to try a float trip and were too intimidated to try I’m here to tell you to do it. You will love the experience and feel like a Pro by the end of the day. Plus, you have the opportunity to explore a big stretch of river that you would otherwise not get to experience.

I recently took a float trip on the Roaring Fork with The Colorado Angler and could not have been more pleased with the experience. The fishing was OUTSTANDING and the professionalism, service and everything about the day was great. I’ve been on many guided float trips and The Colorado Angler is as good a fly shop and guide service as you can experience.
