the coffee is just fine, the shop is good but the big shout out here is that they sell the bread from the Silver Falls Baking Company, kind of right next door but they don’t do retail — so here is the spot to get some really GREAT bread. The big hole in the otherwise perfectly lovely food scene in Silverton has been the lack of anything even close to acceptable bread. Well, solved that — this stuff is the real deal and I have bought baguette in the 16th district in Paris from the second best bakery in Paris. I challenge you to not just rip off the end and stuff it into your mouth in the car — not to fuss I have seen kids in Paris do the very same thing walking down the street.

I’m an employee here and I couldn’t be more thankful for such an awesome job! Such a chill and welcoming environment. Not to mention a friendly and attractive staff There’s also fresh baked bread Monday, Wednesday and Friday (schedule may change) that is to die for and baked right next door! Gear Up is the perfect spot to meet up with friends, study or simply enjoy a nice cup of brew. It’s open most nights until 9pm for all you night owls. Come say hi!

Gear-​up is a cool coffee shop. It has a great look and it feels like a nice place to hang out and read. I do wish they baked more of their own pastries but the coffee is good.

The coffee house was a great atmosphere to kill some time. Provided by friendly service, the coffee was tasty. It was a lively place, but I’m sure it was due to it being a Saturdatay. I enjoyed looking at the books available for the guest.

Good coffee, inviting and eclectic environment and friendly service! Will definitely come back and look forward to trying the cold brew coffee and other pastries!
