I had a very good experience. The staff was helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Got an appointment within 24 hours for a non-emergency. Minimal paperwork. Professional, courteous technician. I plan on using in the future.

I was told by my physician to get xrays at Alamo for chronic pain in my leg. This was from a Regal Medical Group affiliated doctor. The doctor gives me a written order to get this done asap. The regal medical group claims for two days that I am not in the group. I finally get this resolved over the phone and go to Alamo for the xrays. A week later my Doctor gets back and never received the xrays. Alamo claims they have no record of me. THISISHOW HMOs are designed. Fustrate people into paying more for the PPO. Cant wait for open enrollment. Stay away from Regal Medical Group and Alamo Advanced Imaging.

Two of my doctors won’t send patients here anymore. I won’t go into details but I will say pay attention at every step in dealing with these people from check-in to billing — they are easily confused, distracted and/or clueless. Double check the insurance information you give them, get your receipt before you leave and pay very close attention to what the technician does being sure to note and point out anything that seems unusual or unprofessional. Also, know the names of your x-ray technician and the manager/supervisor on duty just in case you need the information later. You have been warned.
